Great smell
The nearby cookie factory gives you munchies so bring a bag if famous Amos cookies
friendly and helpful staff!
Overall for the price, I was very pleased. The greens are in excellent condition. Every one I came across was friendly and courteous.
fun little course
Pace is a little slow.....lots of bros.....the staff needs to b a bit more diligent about 5 somes and collared shirts.....tank tops and raiders jerseys are not golf attire......this used to be a gentleman's game.....etiquette seems to b a lost concept.....but I still like the course overall
Fun Practice At A Great Price
I've played this par 3 course many times because it is close and fairly priced. 18 holes in under 3 hours!
Greens are slow and the fairways are patchy but it looks like they put new sand in the bunkers and that was a pleasant surprise. This is a great course to practice your irons, really enjoyed it. After all, where else can I shoot in the 60s?!
Great Vaule
This course is great for beginners. The course is compact and not too difficult. There are only two water features.
Colton golf course
Yes this course is fun to play in ....very nice ,& for the price u can't beat it .......
Good for short game practice.
This course is close to my dad's so I figured I'd give it a shot since I'd be in town. Good course for short game and beginners. Took my 14yr old and we both had a good time. Course condition isn't the greatest but for the money is still a fun time.
Great for Practice
Had a good round under 3 hrs. Took my nephew, 14, 2nd yr. golfing and he found it fun and challenging. Not too far from home. Grounds are kept in good condition.
Fast fun 18
Very fun course especially for a 10$ Hotdeal. Great practice for the irons and the greens were in the best shape that I have ever played there over the past couple of years. Fun day.
Fun for Beginners
I go to Colton Golf twice a month. It is a great course for a starter to have fun and learn. Not very challenging and most of the holes are par 3 holes. Two water hazards and a little sand. Nothing to worry about. It is a good course to get comfortable with golf and move on to more challenging courses.
colton golf course
It's a good course to practice irons and short very well kept greens, like the brand new carts they got and I would recommend playing here good course and even better price
Great for a quick round
I had a day to myself and an upcoming tournament so I booked a round. I played alone and made it through in 1 hour 45 minutes. Great course to practice short game and for beginners. Great prices and friendly staff.
Surprise! Surprise!
You wouldn't expect a course of this low caliber to be advertised on golf.now. Please stay away. You're better off going to a nice practice range for the day.
Great short iron course.
Fun executive style course. Great friendly staff. This is an old course. Sam Snead played and ran the place for awhile. Good driving range, sand trap, wedge and putting area.
nice place during the week
this executive course can be played in about 3 hours during the week...but expect long waits on the weekends
paid for 18, only played 9 holes
You get what you pay for. That is so true every where, and it will be the last time I play here. Had a tee time at 3:08 on a beautiful Saturday, get there and the starter tells me that he has to pair me up in the golf cart with a stranger because he has no carts left. I totally understand, but as I take a look at the course, there are plenty of golfer's on golf carts by them selves. So I mention this to the starter and he just says it is what it is. Thank goodness that my playing partner wanted to walk.
Disaster averted, we play and it takes the 2 of us plus a solo player, 3 holes later 2 hours and 20 minutes to play the front 9. What a joke! No marshals on the course, lots of "golfers" didn't even have their own clubs. Only in Colton i guess. So the 3 of us did not want to play the other 9 holes so we left. Never again, no matter how great the price is. My sanity won't take it.
A wonderful day
It was so nice to play in good weather. The fairways and greens were good.
Fun short course
I am just learning the game. This was recommended for ease of play and low/no pressure for more experience players who I might hold up. They are clearly working on the course as the greens were just worked on and there was a material on them to help them grow. It was clear at the clubhouse that it could affect the putting so the rounds were discounted that day. I look forward to going back.
Fun in the sun
It was a good day with a friend we enjoyed or selfies..
Excellent Greens
This executive course has excellent greens even in winter which makes for a fun round of golf. Water comes into play and there are plenty of bunkers.
