Mesa Linda

Overall the course was in good condition. The holiday rate of $78.00 is well overpriced for this course. The pace of play was terrible. Just a little over a 5 hour round. Tee time start was pushed back 25 minutes due to a group of 20 to 24 they booked. No staff presence as a starter to get the group off in time.

First Time Playing

Not a good day of golf

Played on a Saturday after 2 days of rain, so I expected a slower pace of play, After 3+ hours and 9 holes I gave up. Management should adapt to daily conditions and spread groups more apart. A waist of time and money.

Cloudy Day

Greens and fairways were in excellent shape. Pace of play was the only problem with the course because we played in the afternoon. We still finished in 4:20.

So so slow

Only come here if you have 5.5-6 hours to kill. Every pin placement is on a slope. Mis your put by an inch or two with the softest touch and it’ll roll downhill another 10 feet. Sucks waiting 15-25 minutes after finishing the previous hole. Other than that, decent place to golf.

Nice golf course nice amenities, poor management!t!

Had 12:48 t-time for 2 for 18 holes of golf!!! Tried to check in at 12:33 and was told to wait 10 or 12 mins for them to call. Checked back in 10 mins and asked if we could get a cart and again was told to wait for me to be called. Starter was obviously feeling pressure, not real friendly?? Finally was called, got a cart, and then found that we were two groups back on the tee??? Didn't check my phone but must have been 1:15 before we teed off!!! Still wasn't real concerned as Mesa course is short and has a low slope rating. On Hole #2 and being 3rd back on the tee again saw that there was a fivesome ahead of the 4 some ahead of us. Best description to me is "POOR MGT"!!! In my book of golf etiquette, 5 somes should never be allowed during public times on a golf course especially if some or all of them is walking!!! You have a nice tract there and obviously more than enough clientele so you can do what you want but to be honest with those who don't frequent the course regularly you might make note that t-times after 11:30am probably won't finish 18!!! In my book, I paid for 18 holes and only got in 15 so you owe me 3 holes of golf!!! I played Glen Ivy a week ago Wed starting at 1:20 and finished 18 holes earlier than the 15 I played here and I played Temecula Creek this last Wed starting at 1:00 and finished at 4:30. Both of these courses are longer and much more difficult layouts but there were obviously no 5 somes or overbooking. "Good Management"!!!

Great conditions... horrible POP

The course is in fantastic shape, however the pace of play continues to be awful! 5 hours minimum even during the week! Reminder.. women's league on this course on Fridays around 8-9am. The rest of the day will be incredibly slow. They cram as many people as possible onto this course! Tee times always start late and they even had the nerve to cram a 2some in front of us that wanted to cut in front of us. You'll see a cart girl out a few times which is nice, but you won't see a marshall moving things along. It's the wild wild Mesa!

Seriously

On the first tee there where 4 groups of 5 somes going out in front of us. I asked the starter if this was a policy now and he said “ if he knows the players ( meaning his friends) he will let them out as a 5 some. “ They really don’t slow up play”. My normal 5:15 round went up to 6 hours. This is ridiculous and completely disrespectful to the other golfers that game to enjoy their day.

This is out of hand and the GM needs to be held accountable for this!

Solid course but terrible pace of play

I like this course a lot. Would play here more often but it’s a little a little tough to get a tee time without being a member. It’s a solid value and course conditions are always good. The one issue I have here is pace of play. Ive played here around 10 times and I can’t remember if I’ve ever had anything under a 5 hour round. They’re usually backed on the first tee and the pathetic thing is that they have a starter. I played yesterday and it was a disaster. They were 30 minutes behind and 4 groups waiting on the first tee. Inexcusable imo. Other than the staff not being on top of things and more organized, the course itself is very enjoyable.

Sloooooooowwwwww

3 hours to play the first 9. 3 foursomes waiting to tee off at 2, 3, and 4. Took 20 minutes to play the first Par 3. Ridiculous. Will NEVER play again. 4 hours to play 12 holes then it got dark. They need to get their business together.

👍🏼 Get your moneys worth

Great round for the price. Tee off early to beat the back ups that cause long rounds. Course Marshalls could do a better job controlling traffic. Tee’s off a little after 7 and was done in 4 hours.
