Easy Playing
Course and greens were in good shape and pace of play was good for the time of day which was early morning. Not too man hazards to worry about and a nice mixture of bunkers to keep you honest. Course is nice and flat and could have walked if necessary. it was worth playhing.
Unfriendly staff Eric.
I came in to check in at exactly 30 minutes early and Eric said he can’t check me in until 15 minutes before my tee time. I looked at the hole one tee box and there was nobody there but the Marshall. He was somewhat rude when he said wait till 15,minutes before my tee time to check in. I said there were nobody around, he responded :it’s a different rate than what you paid for.. I felt he is angry at me For booking a game at GolfNow..The guys I played with on this round also booked at GolfNow. Eric told him they’re loosing money to golf now bookings. I think That’s absurd. All this time he was serious like he wants a fight. I like the course and will play there again but will not appreciate dealing with Eric.
This course has a nice layout and flat, no hills
This course is very good for a city own. It is much better than few years ago and green fee is very reasonable specially on Tuesday and Thursdays.
Awesome Course
I totally recommend Mather. It’s wide fairways and well manicured greens makes it a premiere place to play!! You even get a jet or 2 that fly over
Good course for beginners and intermediates
If you are planning to take driving range practice onto real course as beginners and intermediates, this is the course to go. The course is flat and mostly wide open. If you do not have much real 18 holes experiences, you could find yourself having fun and enjoy the round without getting frustrated.
Good course
Easy layout. More challenging than it appears. Trees and rough give it an unexpected edge. Long fairways and good greens.
Good value.
Pretty straight forward golf course. Fairly wide and not a ton of hazards. Greens were a little bumpy but not bad. For the money, the course is in decent shape. Liked the location/scenery. I got no complaints. Will play again.
Course in prime condition
Skywest Is looking awesome right now. The fairways are all mowed low. Absolutely no lost balls. Putting is fantastic. Well manicured course.
course is in great shape
I've played Skywest many times over the decades and yesterday's round was great - the course is in very good shape, pace of play was excellent.
for those of you have not experienced it yet - give it a chance!
Great course conditions
it's been weeks since it rained in the Bay Area the course was dry and was running fast you still need to keep the ball out the rough or you to lose it . I would recommend everyone to play Skywest right now in his current condition
Great Course
The course was a long awaited opportunity to play golf on a fairly decent course after months of rain. The course was in good condition but not what it can and will be in a few more weeks. The course isn't very challenging for those with lower handicaps, but great for everyday golfers. They have a gold tee box for those with handicaps 13-25, which makes the course a little shorter.
Monday
Course in good shape. Just off fairway and you get punished severely. The rough is extremely thick. Stay in fairway. Pace was ok for a Monday.
very good.the blue tee is very long, use white tee is better.
Beautiful Day To play
Course has dried out dramatically since last Monday. Lots of carry. Keep a good eye on the ball as it barries into heavy rough.
First day of blue skies
Course is damp. Fairway muddy water logged. Give it a couple days of drying out. Very well kept greens. Please repair your divots. Thank You
Bummer it's Cart Paths only! Need a hover craft!
A rainy February made it Cart Paths only day for my Friday morning tee off on the first day of March. For good reason there were plenty of muddy areas in the course that it would just destroy the fairways if you ran a golf cart through it. Bubba can I borrow your Hover craft? The ball is not rolling and the humidity leaves you with less distance on every club. Still a good day to be out. Greens were decent. Rangers were around to check for rule breakers. For the hot deal price I paid it was still a good deal!
