Great 9 holes
Really fun and challenging course basically you get to use every club in your bag. Very tricky. And it said playing in great shape right now
Good place for fast getaway during the day.
Hidden location threading a valley. Very natural and pretty with Redwoods throughout. All par 3 and 4s. Some wonkiness to the course layout and very poor signage, you could easily miss a whole. Several artificial turf Tee boxes. Bring extra balls, OB in the creeks have super steep banks and some poison oak. No ball washers.
Best little golf gem around
Love this course, great value and overall good test of golf!
not easy
This course was difficult due to alot of slope, elevated greens, and very wet sloppy ground. No power carts were allowed due to recent rain which also meant that there had not been any mowing and alot of lost balls . I will scratch this course off my list to return to,
Not fun.
Great course, so beautiful!
Loved playing this course amongst the redwood trees. Everything was amazing and fun layout. It is a bit challenging for an experienced beginner but totally worth it. The only complaint was not enough signs for the tees. We got lost a few times but found our ways
Not a good course for beginners just because it is short
I played here today for the first time in about three years and was very pleased to see that the terrible old mats were replaced that is a big improvement and the layout is what it is I guess
There are still too many holes were a good shot gives you a bad result because of the slopes on the fairways such as 1 and 4 especially
I also like the changes to number three where the men play number three from a shorter Teebox were Parr is now possible and the ladies tees are played as a part for the men’s Teebox could also be a par four for that matter on number three
Number four could use a different Teebox as well because even good 200+ yard shots just roll to the right leaving another 200 yard shot up to the green and extremely difficult uphill shot for even excellent golfers
I am a 10 handicap and will never shoot close to pour here but I played with a beginner today and it was very very difficult and slow for that person
Mcinnis Park agent is a much better course for beginners
I totally understand the inability to water the fairways regularly but it was more the slope of them that was the biggest issue
The trees on the right side of number seven need to be trimmed I understand that you can’t cut them down but too much of the green is blocked so if you can’t cut down those trees then illuminate the bunker on the left side the only shot to the green is is to go long
There isn’t much you can really do to alter the layout I suppose so the course just is what it is but don’t go there and expect to shoot a good or even decent round it is still too wonky a layout
Yes the views are nice and it is cooler there during the hot summer months but I go to golf courses first for the golf and after that somewhere the views
Fun 9 holes
Great 9 hole course. Good for beginners. Very low key. Beware....you will be teeing off on turf mats on several holes.
Fun, picturesque 9 holes
Great course if you’re looking for a very low key 9 holes. Good course for beginners. Be aware that you will be hitting off turf mats on some of the holes. Definitely play it again.
Like playing a random field
Only grass that looked like it belonged on a golf course was the practice green before the first "tee box".
Fairways looked like Armageddon and "tee boxes" were hitting mats instead of proper turf.
The greens on course look like they had been neglected for a year.
I will not be playing this course again.
Fairways in rough shape
With watering restrictions the fairways are in pretty rough shape now, basically hard as rocks.
They have replaced the matts on the tee boxes which is a big improvement, though.
Very Unique Course
No level lies here, plenty of elevation and redwoods. Worth the trip for 9 holes but wish they could improve the tee box situations.
