The National Golf & Country Club

This is a very nice course, challenging for all golfers and in excellent condition.
The in season rates in SW Florida were way over the top. Lots of greedy owners out there

It is a fair distance from anywhere but we’ll worth travelling as excellent practice facilities and course layout and conditions very good. It was a blustery day but a very enjoyable experience. Good choice of tees. Fairways in excellent condition. Greens excellent and rolled well. Staff welcome was friendly and helpful.

Finally played The National at Ave Maria and glad we did. Other courses in Naples area approaching or exceeding $200. The National is very reasonable, well maintained and overall great experience. Only downside is the travel distance from East Naples. Still worth the ride and I would do it again.

If you don’t mind the drive, fun course to play! Fair but challenging, very good conditions.

On many of the holes you really have to employ course management, especially if you are not completely familiar with the course layout and hazards.

Course was in excellent condition tee to green. Fun, relatively open layout that’s offers multiple tee boxes which makes it easy to find a suitable length to fit your game. Pretty open which means windy in Florida. Difficult without being back breaking. Will definitely return.

With a 2pm tee time we managed to easily get in all 18 holes even with pace of play slow a few times. Nice course. You have to really pay attention to course management, especially with plenty of water.

I've played the National many timesover the past few years. Always a good value for Naples, but so so conditions. Well, I can day that the greens ran true at a speed of around 11. Better than Tib a few days earlier. Well worth a drive. Good for beginners at forward tees, and a decent challenge from back, especially part 3s.
