Needs help
This by far is the worst I’ve seen this course ever. The greens are beat up and balls marks that haven’t been repaired ever and some that need to be repaired. I repaired at least five ball marks on every green. Completely ridiculous.!!!! All of the bunkers I looked at had rocks in them that could damage your wedges. I was in two yesterday and had to pull out because of the size of the rocks. I paid $150 for each of my wedges and am not going to ruin them. The cost was definitely over priced for the condition of the course and the driving range was beat down. The mats are falling apart so we were hitting off of the grass which looks like it has been a few days that the position hasn’t changed on the driving range. Hopefully they will make the corrections before spring and the peak of golf season?
Timber Creek is always great
Started golfing here a couple years ago -;they maintain this course better than most in the Sacramento area. The first 9 is mostly open with some water in play while the back 9 is a bit longer with more trees and tighter fairways. Moderately tough course and is very fair.
Timber Creek Course Review
Everytime I play there I think why we have not moved to Sun City Roseville. The people, course and service are very good. The golf course is maintained to a high standard and golfers like myself really appreciate the attention to detail and service.
Awesome Course
What I love about this course is its consistency in always being in great condition. Its a tribute to the entire staff and its maintenance staff.
Timber Creek is best maintained course in area with excellent practice areas
I love Timber Creek; it’s a moderately challenging course that is fair; if you’re hitting the ball well and straight, you can get a low score, but if not, it will punish you. Timber Creek is typically the best maintained in Sacramento area. The front nine is mostly open with some water hazards while the back nine is a bit tighter and tree lined.. The practice areas have been recently upgraded and are excellent. There was a few bare spots in the fairways, which isn’t typical, but I assume that’s because we’re rolling into winter. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this course.
Consistently A Good Course
Well maintained as always.
Green running true.
People respect this. Always fix your ball mark and one extra.
One of the best public fee play facilities
In Northern Cal.
Overall in great shape
Good day at Timber Creek. Greens are overall in great shape other than some people not fixing their pitch marks. Only part of one green that was in pretty significantly bad shape, maybe due to a virus or something. But otherwise, it was fun playing there and would go back.
Beautiful course
Played with 2 locals who were incredibly nice. We’ll maintained, friendly staff.
Great condition
Course is amazingly well kept as usual. Only negative is all of practice area is under renovation
Eightsome is no bueno
I love Timber Creekk. Generally, the pace is slightly slower than I like. On this day, we finally gave up and left . As we drove by other frustrated players, we were informed that there was a group of eight ahead. There they were going slow, yakking, and playing badly. Ridiculous!
Greens were a little tricky today
The course is in pretty good condition as usual. The pin placements were a little tricky due to some subtle breaks that you don't see. I still managed to one putt six times. Nice place to play golf with a great staff and their food is good too.
