Pace of Play - Horrible
Called in, same day, and staff said course was wide open between 1-2pm. I set tee off for 1:20. Previous group was 12:45.Literally caught up to the group by hole 2 (they were on the green). After I finished hole 2, I jumped up to hole 3 and saw groups at 3, 4, and 5. First time I went back to the course for this exact reason. I was hoping things had changed in regards to "pace of play" but there has not. Plan on a long day. The last 4 - 6 times I went there, it took 5+ hrs to finish. No accountability by rangers or mgt to maintain pace. Mgt's main priority, so it seems, is to collect as many people as they can like a cattle call and collect money.and somewhat disregard course satisfaction.
Awesome Course
This course is fun and challenging. The greens are well taken care of, and there are a lot of fun holes. Staff is friendly, but the pace can get a little slow. Understandable though since the price is great and it IS summer. Overall, one of my favorites to play. The bar and bartenders are both a great plus,
Cheers
1st time to play here. It's a difficult course and may not be forgiving for beginners. Greens are well maintained and had a great time!!!
Great Track!!!!
This course is in excellent shape! What a great track and excellent staff! Keep up the good work and May God Bless you always! Phillipians 4:13
Great Value
Course is in great shape and everyone is very friendly.
Had a good meal after play.
Perfect day with friends!
Slow but fun
Good twilight rate brought me to this course. Pretty easy/straightforward layout. Greens are a little bumpy but not bad. About what I expected from the course considering the cost. Only downside was the pace. Started at 2:15 and finished at 7.
Worth a look
Course was in good shape. Actually surprised by that considering the high traffic. Pace of play was a bit too slow but I played on a Saturday afternoon so that to be expected. The course was fun with different looks at a lot of holes. Would have to have played the course a few times to go out and should a great score. I'm glad I had the experience of playing the track. If I'm in the area and there is a deal I'll be back
Slow pace
Marshall should be used to speed up play for slow players.
Great value, fun and challenging
Would definitely be returning back for another outing, dont really have any compliants. Theres alot of space to cover so youre in for a slight workout.
Turtle Pace
Overall, I think the course is pretty good. Friendly staff, good food, good course, price is very fair, etc...My only dissatisfaction is the pace of play. On average it takes me between 4.75 - 5.5 hours to play a round. I have booked tee times that have varied from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm. I understand money/profit is important BUT I feel their needs to be a 15 interval between groups to improve pace. And....I would like to ask rangers enforce "pace of play". Of the several public courses in the area, this is the only place where the pace if the slowest.
SJH - 5/6/17
This is one of my favorite courses to play. The pace of pay was extremely slow, but besides that it was a fun round.
slow play
We left after 9 holes. We had to wait at every single hole. The 3-some in front of were chatty, They bought tequila shots and drank them after they teed off so it slowed down the pace of play. By this time there 2 more groups waiting behind us. The marshall drove by but he didn't hurry them up .
Very nice course for the price
Came alone and got paired up with 3 other singles, but still had a good time. Course was packed for noon on a Wednesday, but pace of play still moved rather quickly. Fun course I'd play again
way to slowwww
this is a decent track when you don't have any more options or buddies want to play it. great greens very tough to read.... watch your surroundings. i always want to like this course the pace of play is just horrendous! i have played it every day of the week. unacceptable 4:30-5:15 every time....
The greens were punched 10 days prior but had a great time in spite of this. This course is the best value in OC and is only getting better with the coming inprovements. I hope they are able to keep their rates reasonable.
