Woodley Lakes Golf Course

The course is very wide and open. It’s good for people starting out. The greens were alright and the grass good except for there being goose poop everywhere. Literally everywhere. There’s hordes of them roaming the grounds. Also saw a coyote. But yeah, really annoying trying to chip and putt and tee off when you have piles of poop next to your ball and clubs and on the greens. But hey, the place is just a local muni and made for mainly beginners. The bar/restaurant at the clubhouse is nice and looked recently renovated.

Would Only Wish They Had Better Irrigation Drainage System… Unfortunately It’s The Sepulveda Basin (Always Gets Flooded ) but overall a nice course (Wide Open for any type of Shot ..)

This course is good fun. Nice pace of play and you can really work on your longer shots. If you want to play an actual round that’s still plenty challenging but don’t feel like beating yourself up the whole time this is a great course.

We had 3 players booked but one of the players canceled due to illness so I canceled through teeoff and it accepted my cancellation. After getting to the course , I explained the situation to the gentleman at the proshop checking us in , and he said teeoff never send the cancellation and processed to charge me for 3 players. Seemed like he was having a bad day , we asked if the range was open and he responded go check if the gate is up . I don’t think he likes his job very much . I understand of booking through a 3rd party doesn’t guarantee us not getting our money book since it was canceled after the 24 hour mark, but customer service doesn’t take much work to just be kind .
