3rd: par-4, 430. This Cape design tempts you to take the shortest route down the fairway toward the green (on left). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

7th, par-3, 220. A well-guarded and contoured green; a pleasant backdrop. Seen here from its left flank. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

8th: par-4, 352. Green complex at this short and steeply downhill hole--made perilous by a pond. Eagle potential, however. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

The par-4 14th, 447. Long, beautiful, and possibly deadly. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

Sixteen is another excellent, long par-4 concluding on this green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

18th, par-5 of 588. The signature hole? I’ll go for that. Great bunkering from Mungeam. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

Devilish Greens
Course was in good condition but the pace of play was slow. I think the undulating greens have a lot to do with it. Never a flat putt but really not many places for the pins to be placed on the front nine. Still always a great track.
Enjoyable round
Pretty windy and cold the day we played, and the day before rained A LOT, but the course was in great shape. Greens were rolling very fast, and I can only imagine how fast they would have been without the rain. The course was off the beaten path but would highly recommend to anyone. Reason for the 4 stars was the reception in the pro shop upon check in was cold to say the least, the person was not having a good start to the day and we sensed it. Bar had one table with 4 stools in it, looked like it was closed for the season. All said, can't wait to play this track again.
Course was in beautiful condition
Probably my worse round of the season but it wasn’t the courses fault. The course conditions were phenomenal and the greens played super tough. Would highly recommend playing here.
Beautiful course in great condition
Lucky to get the first tee time after the completion of a shotgun start outing, Played 18 in 2:45 as a 2 some. Course played long due to damp fairways & thick rough from the recent rains.. Tee boxes, fairway & thick rough are all in excellent condition. Greens were a receptive & putts rolled true, though a bit slower than usual. Highly recommened!
Best public course in Ct
I have played this course ever since it was a 9 hole Mom & Pop course. It consistently gets better & better. It is a tremendous value for the money.
This course will test your whole game. And your putting better be spot on, or these greens will eat you up.
An absolute must play course, if you are anywhere near.
Love it
Great course for all levels. Greens and fairways were in perfect condition. Clubhouse and staff are very nice.
Fun, challenging course
This was the first time for me, I played the white tees and they were pretty challenging. The course was in good shape, Good deal, it looked like range balls are included but I didn't get a chance to use the range before teeing off..
Beautiful, Challenging Course
I have heard about this course for a long time, so glad to have played it. The pin placements where very challenging since there was a course championship play just before we tee off. I look forward to a return to the eastern corner of CT!
