Course in good shape
Course is in great shape for only April.
Some greens are thin but again it's only April, still rolled true
Well worth the drive from Jax
Tees and fairways are pleasant to hit from.
Great Course for the Price
You cannot find a better course for the cost to play Trident Lakes.
Only 2 things to note. 1) the gnats/bugs on the driving range are out of control but not sure what the course can really do about that and 2) cups looked like they’ve been in the same place for a week.
Our group was slow and we still played it in 4 hours with letting 3 groups go through us. Will definitely go back.
Great place!
Staff is awesome and the course is in great shape. Some spots need work and you can see visible signs of them fixing it. Reasonably priced and carts have gps which is a huge plus.
Trident
Beautiful course. Watch out for snakes and alligators
Friday Golf
Course in good condition. Pace of play was slow due to 5 minutes between T times.
Excellent value
Overall a very nice course for a reasonable price. The greens were very fast and I found them consistent and readable. Our only problem was pace of play. A 5+ hour round is not enjoyable.
I will try it again to see if this was an anomaly.
Good Time as Always
Although I live in nearby Florida Triden Lakes has Ive come to know Tident Lakes as my HOME course
I find it difficult to beat the convenience, the links course design, the excellent pace of play and the overall value I get whenever I tee up here
Hidden gem
Wonderful course, great layout. It’s a bit of a beast from the tips especially when the wind is up, seemingly generous landing areas, but there’s pleasure of water and enough trouble to penalize wayward shots. Greens are true and fast but not overly so, Be wary near water, there’s a population of good size gators and when I played in late march you could hear the hatchlings chirping near the water’s edge. One of the toughest par threes I’ve ever seen on the back, a two hundred thirty yard monster with a sloping fairway toward water all down the right and an elevated green. Must admit, I went tin cup on that one trying to hit Driver into a 15-20mph hurting wind. Looking forward to playing again, it beat me up pretty good.
Great Value
Walked 18 holes on a sunny, windy Friday. Always enjoyable. Best value north of Windy Harbor. Military courses rock.
Great design and Value
Nice course design by Arthur Hills with four different tee boxes to provide challenges for different skill levels. Greens are a little slow but fair and roll true.
Staff is friendly and supportive. Nice course to walk. Carts have gps. Great value. Definitely will be back.
