About
Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville has a unique layout with a front nine that is designed in a Scottish-links style and a back nine that plays through rolling woodlands. The links holes are framed with native prairie grasses and wildflowers while mature oak trees line the fairways on the back nine. There are plenty of elevation changes throughout the golf course, making it hard to find a flat lie. Mounding and strategically placed bunkers lurk treacherously along the greensides and there are also several holes with water. Far Oaks Golf Club is a challenging course that demands accuracy, which is most apparent on the 10th hole. Although it's not the longest par 4 on the course, it is still challenging thanks to a slew of bunkers that border both sides of the green.

Course in great shape
The course is in some of the best playing condition it's been in for awhile now.
Great course for the money
Very challenging course, some of the par 3 holes are quite unique.
The usual slow play especially after the turn. And this was a mid day Monday!!
Love the course best one around great staff members course is in good shape and I love playing there⛳️⛳️❤️

Nice course
2nd time playing. Wished my game was up to the challenge. Course was in great shape. My only complaint was the practice green seemed to be cut much closer than the actual greens, so practice was faster than play. But a minor nit. love the course and layout,.
Very well maintained
Great and challenging layout. Probably the best maintained course I’ve played all year. I can’t wait to play it in the spring.
Excellent course
This was my first time playing here and I was very impressed. Although the fairways were dormant, they were in great shape and free of leaves. The greens were fast and true. Everything was well kept up. It was remarkably idle when I was there, so buzzed through in 3 hrs. I would definitely return.
What I originally booked was a Hot Deal of $28. My cost for the round was $0, as I had Golfpass credit to apply. Not sure what the normal fees are.
Great course and beautiful views
Autumn trees really added to the ambiance of this course. Was told 3 seasons are great views as well. Greens were in good shape but fast! Tee boxes were good as well. Fairways were yellow because of the grass they use but trimmed nicely and easy to hit from. Very pleasantly surprised and will definitely go back!
