About
Fox Run Golf Links opened in 1984 but over the past two years the course underwent a major renovation that made the layout both more challenging for serious players but also more forgiving for the recreational golfer. The multi-million-dollar renovation included enhancements to the hole layouts, redesigning the bunkers, installing a new irrigation system, and creating new practice and chipping areas. Water comes into play often throughout the golf course and you'll find elevation changes on nearly every green. The water holes will be especially tough if you have a tendency to slice the ball. Thanks to the varied layout, which includes some holes that are wide open and others that are more target-style golf, you will get the opportunity to work on different types of shots. Fox Run Golf Links is a challenging but fair test that players of all skill levels can enjoy.

Missing Beverage cart
It was 95° on Labor Day and not one beverage cart to be found. A hot day like this definitely need two or three carts working the course to make sure your guest stay hydrated.

Rangers Make Course Unplayable
Rangers, specifically Greg, make this course unplayable. Had a 9:30 tee time. The group ahead of us was already in the fairway when we got on the tee box at 9:20. Starter told us to wait until 9:30 to tee off regardless (understandable).
Then had the pleasure of Greg stalking us for 5 out of the 9 holes on the front. We tried to be polite and make conversation. On the 8th we asked Greg how he was doing. His response "I'm good. You are 10 minutes behind." We were confused because the group behind us had not been waiting for one second on any hole and we had not been taking an extensive amount of time on any hole. Cart said we were on time. Didn't think much of it and played on.
Made the turn and, on the 11th hole, Greg was waiting for us. He barked that we needed to play our next shot from the fairway rather than taking our tee shot (outrageous!). I argued that our cart said we were only two minute behind. Greg said that it doesn't matter and that the cart resets at the turn. Greg told us we were the 9:20 tee time. I corrected him that we were the 9:30 tee time. While we were arguing, for an extended period of time, a player in our group began to tee up. Greg then threatened to kick us off the course.
I called the manager who met us on the 12th hole. The manager immediately gave us 4 free rounds and said that this has been a problem in the past with Greg.
This is absolutely inexcusable behavior from a ranger. We spent $72 each and were trying to enjoy a day off only to be harassed by Greg. Where else do you pay $70+ dollars to be treated like garbage? Thanks to Greg, we will never be back.

Don’t buy afternoon hot deals
Course is unorganized with GolfNow. Bought an 18 hole hot deal only to be told when I arrived that I could only play 9 holes. Wish they had better communication with players and GolfNow

Horrible Pace
Avoid if you are looking to play under 4:15, we played 9 it was unbelievably slow 2:45 for nine.
Rangers are useless and have no clue what they are doing

Nice Course
It is a good place to practice your skills. Everyone and everything was very nice. My only issue was the teens playing around us were messing around and we were waiting a lot but we didnt really care, we were just enjoying the day.

A little out of my way, but a good option
My wife and I played with another couple who live closer to this course than we do. We’d be happy to meet them there again. The course is short, so playing from the tips was in the 6,200-yard range that I often play, and par 70 adds to the reasonable challenge. There are also a few tight spots, so it’s no pushover. Conditions were good, even though many other players apparently don’t fix ball marks on the greens.
