Poor bunkers
For the cost of the course I would expect them to take better care of the bunkers. Everything else was pretty good. But the sand needs major attention.
Not worth the price
I've played most public courses in the area. My group and I were so disappointed with this course for the price we paid. The course has a lot of bunkers and none of them are maintained. It was like hitting off of concrete. Several of the bunkers had exposed corrigated drainage pipes. They have a restroom on the course that was locked up with a Porta John on the side. The Porta John was disgusting. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Lastly several of the tee boxes were soggy. Most courses in the area are much better for a lower price.
OK, but........
I do like playing this course. It's got some long par 4's that could be 5's due to my age. Lol...Course was in average condition. Greens could use some help. But definitely traps need lots of care...please put some sand in them! It's like that each time I've played. The fee was $55 down from $75 and now I know why. I'll return as long as fee is minimal...it's not a $75 course!
Needs some love
The bunkers and Tee Boxes are in really bad shape. Lots of crowning on the tee boxes. The “bunkers” had lots of roots growing through them and can’t hit out of most of them being there is no loose sand.
Course conditions
I believe if a course is open for business they should be open for business. No cart girl no halfway house no restaurant nowhere to get something to drink bunkers have dirt in them not rakes not sand. Goose droppings all over the greens haven't been swept in weeks. I understand it's a lower price but this should be told to the people ahead of time if I wanted to go play at a Municipal Park I will
course hazzards
the worst sand traps I've ever played in! It was mud, hard and no sand!
A Favorite
I don't get to play here often enough. The course is always maintained very well. About the only thing that could use improvement is a few areas on the cart paths can use some attention.
