Always a good time
Course is always in good shape. Easy to play. Great place to work on basics. Great bang for your buck.
Fun round
No surprise here. Fun course. You won’t use all your clubs, but still a challenge!
Very pleasant short course
Operated by the DuPage County Forest Preserve this nine hole short course is a great place to take your kids or the novice just starting the game. Starting out with 3 par 4's ranging from 320 to 380 and 6 par 3's ranging from 100 to 170. A decent mix and you'll use a few more clubs than you think you would especially if the wind is up. Two practice greens and a basic clubhouse with beverages a few orange whip selections. Priced right for what it is I found Green Meadows to be well maintained and a really pleasant place to get in some short game fun. The greens had some decent speed and were rolling better than I could have anticipated. Sand traps too were okay - I hadn't played here for well over 25 years - prior to the Forest Preserve purchase. Even though it was pretty busy on a perfect day we still got around in 1 1/2 hours playing right after a league of senior couples. If you're introducing a novice or child to the game I'd recommend Green Meadow wholeheartedly. I was expecting 2.5 to 3 star experience but for this type of short course it's a solid 3.75. $20 value.
Ralph
The check in man and his boss were friendly, happy and efficient.
Roy does an awesomely great job keeping the course in excellent condition.
A Decent Golf Course
First time play at this course. It is not a super challenging course, and everyone enjoyed our the time there.
Great value
We can go from here for years. Great little course even better price. Real good walking course that has carts. Hidden gem
Fun little course
The wife and I really enjoy this course. You won’t use all the clubs in your bag, but still fun. Traps need s little Work, but overall a fun time.
Great lil course
Great small course. Minimal clubs. Easy on good patient play. Great for a quick round. Good price.
Pleasant nine
Good layout, good condition for a muni 9. Fairways had been mown and greens putted true even though the snow just melted days ago. This was my first round here at Green Meadows and I will definitely be back. I am 72 yrs old and found the course very walkable, and we played in an hour and a half. Perfect for a quick outing.
Great time
I had a fantastic time on this little tiny Golf Course the greens were excellent the traps in great shape all in all a super time and a fantastic value for my money
Great value
Green Meadows is great for those of us who are low key, golf for fun people.
Decent
When I played the tee boxes weren't in that great of shape but that's expected early in the season...overall it was a pretty good experience, to me this is a very average course that wasn't all that challenging but still fun to play.
Too Expensive for this kind of course
Staff very friendly. Course is well kept. I was very surprised to find that after 3 par 4 holes, the remaining 6 holes are all par 3 holes. (6 par 3's ) no par 5 holes. This is nice for a very quick 9, but it should be priced more for a par 3 golf course. If we hadn't been backed up by a group of slow players, we could have easily played the course in 1 1/2 hours.
Awful Staff
Starter is a piece of work. Show up 60 seconds late and he talks to you like a child. Had to get a refund and try my best not to react toward him.
Retirement Course
This course is surrounded by mostly retirees who play the course very frequently. This drives up the time per round. It took us 2:20 to play 9 hole. I can't recommend this course for any player who is looking to get in a quick 9 holes. Plus, this course is overpriced for a 9 hole par three course.
Great Course for quick 9
Went on Saturday ended up playing two rounds because our group enjoyed ourselves so much and the speed of play was generally good. Great stop to get a quick 9 in as most holes are medium distance par 3s. Can't beat the price, definitely coming back again.
