Madrona Links Golf Course first opened in 1978, and has since become one of the most active clubs in the Puget Sound area. Located in Gig Harbor, the course is conveniently located on the peninsula with easy access to Tacoma Narrows and Highway 16. The layout has a classic links design that is player friendly enough for players of all skill levels. Small, deep bunkers frame both the greens and fairways. Madrona Links requires accuracy, but it's not overly punishing if you're slightly errant. With only gently rolling hills, the golf course is an easy walk. At just over 5,600 yards from the back tees, it's relatively short but you will still face some challenging shots. This popular course is one of the best values in the area.

Great course for thw money
Overall the course was in great shape. Its a very fun short course. Doesn't have a driving range or beverage cart is my only true complaint.
Duce to go
Twosome playing between foursome. No push and no rush worked just fine for playing time. Breakfast and a drink rounded out the game. Will be back again and again.
Unable to play
I was unable to play due to the fact that my son was not old enough. The whole intent for the day was my son wanted a father son day and to play golf with me. But the course has a required age limit to be at least 7 years old. The course was courteous about telling me this. Maybe I will go back later on my own.
Nice course
Generally a nice course. Great condition. The back nine has a lot of up and downs, with one hole especially difficult and extreme slope. I pretty much write that one off for a good score.
Fun Course
Fun course with a friendly staff. Course was well groomed and greens were quite fast. A few “well placed” pins made putting a fun challenge. A couple short par 4’s make for great scoring opportunities but be careful of a few long 3’s that might take away your gains. Course is easy to get to and speed of play was good. Good course, Try it!!

Short but challenging.
Really enjoyed the course. Some interesting holes. Greens were slightly slow but the ball rolled well. Fairways are mostly rolling with a few side hills that are tough to hold. Recommended play.
Nice course
Started early and pace of play (3 1/2 hrs) was great. Course is in great shape and the greens are well cared for.
Slow Play-No Course Marshall
No one keeping pace of play moving, players were jumping on holes on the back 9 in front of us which really slowed things down. Need better on course oversight!
Great set up
A course were you get a chance to use all your skills..
Course was very quiet as weather was predicted to move in which it did! It was in its usual fine condition!
Great course but the two guys at the register are consistently negative in their comments and attitude The ladies in the bar/restaurant are great and work very hard except for the blonde bartender who is extremely rude on every occasion we've interacted- many others have had similar experience with her It is amazing how those three people cancel out all the others great work and make the golf experience unpleasant I golf here often but look for chance to go anywhere else when possible

Excellent round! Played well for a change! Course in great shape! Bit chilly but it’s changeable April!
Great dry winter course
It had rained the night before and during our round but we didn't plug 1 ball the whole round. Really like playing her during the winter and spring when most courses are sloppy and muddy!
I love the course and the staff.
I've lived in the Gig Harbor area for 5 years and have played the course since day one. The staff has done a great job with the course, the food and the pace of play.
