Beautiful Course
Beautiful course, looking forward to playing it again. I would have given 5 stars to the course conditions but they had just aerated the greens two days prior. Still, the greens were in good shape especially for them being aerated two days earlier. The older gentleman in the pro shop was a pretty miserable person. I asked about getting a separate cart for myself and my friend golfing due to covid and was told in a very angry demeanor “Well is it this really necessary?? You know we only have so many carts!!”

Needs a lot of TLC
I know this course gets a lot of traffic, but it's really hacked up. The fairways have huge scars and gouges, and the greens are littered with ball marks. It's a shame because the course is pretty with many mature trees.

This course used to be beautiful! I’ve seen municipal courses in bad shape! Needs a complete overhaul. Winnetka, Wow! Sad.

Golf carts in by 8 and slow pace.
Couldn’t finish 12 holes because of the carts in by 8 rule despite tons of sun left. Only let me pay for 9 holes if that’s the case.
Also the carts go super slow which affected place of play

Embarrassing For The Town of Winnetka
Great old school layout which is a nice change of pace from other courses in the area. The course conditions were awful and the township of Winnetka should be embarrassed. The amount of standing water in the fairways, rough and bunkers was stunning given the amount of time that had passed from the last rainfall. If the course has that big of an issue with drainage then shut it down. Also we booked the round with a cart and on the day of play was told the course was walking only which is fine. However, when asked if the rate was going to be reduced due to no cart we were told the rate is the rate. Not ok and terrible from a customer service standpoint.

Great layout.
Not long but very tight with lots of water and trees if you wonder off the fairways.

Great course with friendly staff
With all the rain it has been hard to mow the rough. Now that things have dried out the course is in great shape.
Great value and family friendly with a nine hole par three. Also, outstanding practice facilities.

Excellent Service, nice course. We picked a cold windy wet day, where the rough was deep and lost a few balls but that's our fault. Pace of play was with no delays.
