Great Day of Early March Golf
Challenging, picturesque, open course (not surrounded by houses; just trees, creek, & ponds.) Great shape for early March. Very friendly staff. The course was full of golfers, but pace of play great. Well worth the trip. Highly recommend.
Crawfordsville
Good course. Back 9 does not have a cart path. Struggled to find which hole was where. Good time for the price.
Solid Muni
Solid municipal course. Gary Kern’s work eliminated almost all of the Bill Diddel’s work which is sad! There are several holes on the back 9 that still have some of his work as well as an abandoned hole that is not part of driving range.
Course uses land well and traverses over several creeks and flood plains to provide character. It is worth the play if in the area.
Sweet Little Gem!
Took a chance on this course based off price and reviews. Glad I did! Nice course! It's a long drive for me but I will definitely go back again! Friendly staff and fun to play!
Nice public course that accommodates very nicely!
For a public course, they keep it up pretty well!
Our group plays on multiple courses throughout the north central Indiana area.
There are a variety of holes and several are very challenging. They've added tee boxes so you can play from whatever level you are comfortable.
We've only run into one 6-some (refused to let us through), and the staff apologized and gave us a discount for our next round there.
This course is one of our favorites.
Much improved
This course is in the best condition from tee to green I’ve seen in several years. Greens are outstanding and this is back to being a great value for the price.
VERY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
When you use your app at this course they treat you like garbage it's embarrassing for the city and the game of golf. You shouldn't be told on the first tee that the people behind you should be allowed first because they are paying customers. I won't be back that's not acceptable!!! Avoid this place at all cost!!
It's muni
Crawfordsville Municipal Golf Course has never been a jewel and is in better shape than it used to be but it definitely leaves much to be desired. There is always at least one green that is littered with brown spots and much of the course near the ponds on the front is marshy and muddy if there has been any rain in the past few weeks. The clubhouse serves hotdogs and various pre packaged foods like candy bars but no alcohol thanks to an incredibly conservative city council. The course is ok as far as a challenge goes. There are some strangely placed trees such as the one on hole 3 at the stream. All in all, for the money, it's not a bad deal, just don't expect anything fancy or full service when you get there.
Catching up with technology
Fun course. Rain early in the week had course thicker than usual. Management still catching up with "online tee times". Hot deal from GolfNow was met with misunderstanding of why 12 o'clock, which was their busiest time of the day. Anyway, fun and sure to get back to normal conditions after rains.
nice little course
Nice little course with big greens and had the place to ourselves!
A little wet but playable.
First time playing the course. Lots of wet areas and lost a couple of balls in those areas. Course was a little challenging due to wet conditions. Greens were good except for a couple that had been damaged by cold weather. Staff was friendly. Would like to play this course again when it dries out.
If you were trying to T off at noon, You were going to get run over by faster players anyway.
