Course Has Closed
Sad that this course has closed as Bill Langford was involved in the original design.
I did not have a great experience when I originally played, but I can chalk that up to staff not being on their A-game that day.
I remember the course had solid greens and average conditions. It is always sad when a Langford & Moreau course closes. However, this course did have his trademark higher raised/ built-up greens.
The Creek
Christiana Creek is a very nice course and even in the fall season the greens and fairways were in good shape., with most of the leaves blown off. The course was very soft due to recent rains and overflow from the creek making it more challenging to navigate, but still a fun course to play.
The Creek
We have had a lot of rain in last weeks so course had some wet spots and you got zero roll on shots. I played the white tees and there were some par 4's I couldn't get to in regulation. Was mid afternoon in the fall so they wasn't busy. I played alone in a little over 2 hours. Weather was good for this time of year- near 70.
Was good to play the Creek again.
Fun golf course
A challenge because of the creek running through the course which tends to eat many golf balls but really fun and in good shape, the course was really soft because of all the rain recently so no roll but very good shape for a public course
GEM OF A COURSE !!!
Have to be fairly straight off the tee to avoid trouble and have an open shot to green. Great set of par 3's and a gem of a course.!!
ENJOYABLE
Very nice course. 4 sets of tees for all level of players. Have played this course many times.. Find the time to play this one!!
Playable
It was alright. A lot of random pot holes everywhere. The tee boxes were not up to standard. The sprinklers turned on us multiple times on the back nine.
Nice track - fun to play nice variety of holes
Played on a warm Friday afternoon. The course was in great shape and there is a creek that winds around the course and can come into play on several holes.
We had 3 groups of 5 -somes in front of us, but they played swiftly and we only had to wait on a couple of holes.
We had a single catch up with us after the front nine and he was a nice young gentleman and we enjoyed his company and he had played the course before and helped us understand where the trouble was off the tee.
Per my earlier comment on the 5-somes we still got around in 3:20 minutes which was great.
Overall the course was in excellent shape tee to green and the greens rolled fast and true.
After our round we went downtown and there is a neat microbrewery with excellent beers and appeared to have a tasty menu as well.
We drove an hour to play this (once private) course and there are homes bordering the course on a couple of holes but they are never in play .
Will definitely make the drive again to play again this summer.
GREAT COURSE
Very nice course. The hot deal on golf now makes this course a no-brainer only problem was restaurant and food choices hot dog is $6 and is just a dollar hot dog other than that great course so eat before you go
Great greens!
Course is in excellent shape. Greens run true and are truely a pleasure to putt.
Grill Room needs to be open on Sunday evenings at least until 8PM.
Definitely a must play.
Enjoyable round
Very nice course. Good condition. Greens were quick, but fair.
Could use better signage for first timers from green to next tee as some tees were in unexpected locations.
One of the better northern Indiana courses
Course was in good condition, greens rolled fast, and has a few challenging holes. It is one of the better courses to play in Northern Indiana, especially for the golfnow price. You will definitely be satisfied playing there.
Great course
I'm so happy this course is now open to the public. It's a gem in the heart of Elkhart. I would play this course every day if I could.
Awesome
This course is in excellent condition. The staff is friendly and the food/drinks are great.
