Great Place to play
Golf course was in great shape the staff are very friendly and accommodating we can’t wait to go back I highly recommend it
Pro shop attendant was super!
We drove over 60 miles to get to the course. When we arrived, we learned that there was a miscommunication on my Golf Now reservation which had failed to disclose some critical course restrictions. The gentlemen in the pro shop bent over backwards to accommodate the issue and we ended up having a spectacular day on the course. It's one of my favorite courses due to its interesting layout. The only issue is common to every course with mid-to-late summer grasses in the fairways. The fairways were brown and dormant and every lie was hard pan. Not a fault with the course.
Course popping into great spring shape, but could be better. No excuse to not have greens tended and cleaned for weekend play.
Great golf course!
Have played the course for many years. Love the layout.
Nice course
Greens and fairways are well kept. But due to the covid-19 the cups on the greens were above the surface
Nice course, solid layout, conducive to good scoring
I liked the course quite a bit, as it had a nice layout, cool par 3’s, and an interesting set of holes. The back 9 is probably a bit better than the front. The only quibble I’d have with My Old Kentucky Home Golf Course is the dormant Bermuda grass in the winter months. I’d probably rate the course 1/2 star higher with leaves on the trees and green fairways, but by no means is this ever not an enjoyable course to play. Especially playing from the middle tees it’s a very accessible course where one can score well and you get what you deserve.
Front 9 greens need work
Back 9 was enjoyable. Front 9 greens were rough, and I’m not sure what’s up with the gravel bunkers. The lake on the front 9 stinks pretty bad as well, but luckily you just have to drive by it a few times.
Beautiful Course
Beautiful Course with excellent layout. Greens were in need of a little work but ball generally rolled true. Will recommend to friends. Only issue was playing behind a six-some for most of round. Need active course Marshall’s.
Great course
Outside of the layout being a little confusing this place is great. Definitely worth the drive.
A must if visiting bourbon country
What a great course. A couple of greens were victims of an algae/fungus, but fairways and the remainder of the greens were great. Tee boxes were rock hard, a victim of the near drought conditions in the Bourbon Country area. First time to play this course, but will definitely include it in future trips to Bourbon country.
bad places on several greens
the course is a great and fun place to play it was mowed good fairway and rough was cut good so you didn't lose any balls the only problem several greens had a few bad spot on them mostly around the edges no. 1 and 2 was the worst but they still putted good
