Nice 9 Hole Course
Nice little course to play if you have an hour or so to spend on the course. Very hilly and some blind shots but the greens were rolling very true. The fairways had some rough spots but overall the course was in great shape.
Needed a change from flat courses
Had fun playing this nine hole public course. Lots of hills and is fairly tight. It does have some blind shots so look ahead for your target. Was a little wet the day I played and need to play it up in some areas. Greens were smooth and have lots of break so be below the hole. Par fives are not super long but require well placed shots. Par threes are long iron or hybrid off the blue tees. Pace of play was good the day I played. Slower groups allowed faster through.
Best greens around.
The course is quite hilly but the tee boxes were in great shape and the greens were superb. Booked a 9 hole tee time. Shot a 40 first time out. Missed some birdie putts but was pleased with the round. Challenging little course but it was worth the $5 tee time to check it out. Will play again.
Beautiful Course
This is a beautiful course. Very challenging for a novice like me. Loved the hills. The course was a little hairy, though. Lost a ball just off the #1 green in the thick rough. Eat before you go. There are limited snacks.
Fun course, just don't expect perfect turf
Great place to get out to work on your game.
Greens are a little slow but they are really nice.
Lots of hills, beautiful trees and a couple blind shots.
Fairways are not in great shape but it's still worth the cheep fees.
I take the kiddos out with me and they have a great time playing off of some of the really short tees.
Even from the tips, the course is not long but the doglegs and hills add to the difficulty.
Beautiful and a challenge
Course is in excellent shape. Very, very hilly and narrow in places. You would not want to walk this course. I would say these are some of the toughest nine holes in the Evansville area.
Pretty place to practice your game
The course is in very pretty state park and the layout is very pleasing - the fairways are awful, not a lot of grass, so be prepared to hit off dirt and weeds but the greens are actually very well maintained. With a cart this place is cheaper than range balls in most places, don't play the ball down and enjoy a good practice round in a beautiful setting.
Alot of hills
The course is nice 9hole place. Alot of hills and woods, make you think before you swing. Easy to lose balls on wild shots, but overall nice course. Greens in good shape too!!
Great course
Tight course. It's fun to play it's only 9 holes need to add 9 more to make a 18 hole course.
