Nice layout, straight-forward course to score well on
Played on October 28th - they were aerating the greens on the 29th. Fairways (bent) are in great shape, greens were very quick. Bunkers could use some attention - not raked at all for the weekend play. Easy course to score well - short par 3's and 5's.
Challenging course
Very nice greens. Despite the firmness they will hold your shot.
However several of the greens are literally impossible to putt if you are above the hole. A simple downhill putt might mean your next putt is off the green. The course is very scenic and is not your typical subdivision course. No boring holes and except for a few holes the course is not exceedingly tight for the average golfer. The average golfer will find several holes that are 'BIRDABLE'. However several par 4'S (ex. hole 18) are almost par 5's . Fun place to play and my experience is, it is rarely crowded.
A challenging course but fun to play!
Get ready to use every club in your bag, because this course will challange you. You think you've got the right club for this shot? Think again! From undulating fairways to "extreme break" greens and "gottcha" traps, this course is so much fun to play. The staff here is so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this course to players of all ages and handicaps!
Some greens, tee boxes and fairways were not in good shape.
Decent course. Can be be better if maintained well.
A beautiful challenging course. A real test for the putter.
Lots of Interesting holes. Well-placed traps add to the difficulty. The staff went out of their way to make you feel at home.
Excellent course in top condition.
Polo Fields was a fine course that was in excellent condition. The course was fair but challenging. Elevation changes on this hilly layout also added to the challenge and made for a fun day. The greens also provided a fun challenge without being overly difficult. Play was very light the day we were there so we played a rather quick round. The only drawback to our experience was we were unable to purchase food or snacks as the exclusivity of the club did not allow it. All purchases were through running tabs for club members only.
Very nice course
Great course, really liked the layout. We didn't get lost like some other reviewers did, but I imagine you could if you don't follow the cart paths.
It played fairly short from the white tees, had my best round of the season, and it was my first time playing there.
