The course was in very good condition and leaves were no problem for this time of the year, play was rather slow.
I have played this course before and it is always in very good condition. It is a very fair course. Sand traps- Some were hard.
Some were soft and fluffy. fairways were cut very consistent and played well. Greens were in good shape and moderate speed.
In decent shape but could be better
Course is in fairly good condition. Could be a little better though. Fairways, tees and greens are pretty good. bunkers and rough could use work in some spots though. The staff wasnt that friendly but wasnt mean in the same time either. Overall it gets 4 stars have a friendly staff and work on rough and bunkers and would be an easy 5 star course and one of the top greater cincinnati coursess!
Very good layout with good blend of holes.
I would give this course a 8 out of 10. Enjoyed the design.
The course is geneally good but due to the weather we've had, lack of rain, there are some spots that need attention.
The course seems to be in need of care due to lack of rain and heat during this last summer.
Great Public course in NKY
For $24 i was able to tee off around 10:15 and my 4-some had a great time. It was my first time at the course and i would be happy to go back for this price and the great shape it was kept in. The only drawback is that we played on a Saturday afternoon and could hear the nearby Ryle highschool football game going on.
I would defintely reccomend it even for $30. I am a recent college graduate, average score about 90, and had a great time out there. One of the best kept courses in NKY for the price.
Very nice design; great value !
Nice course, excellent layout. Good clubhouse and very nice value for the money.
Great piece of land, bad playing conditions
The natural features of the surroundings were lovely, and the course was well designed by Dr. Hurdzan. However, my round was made much less enjoyable by the dismal condition of the golf course. I played on a Saturday, and the greens were incredibly slow--they had not been cut in a while. Also, most of the green complexes on the front nine had been roped off--basically the fringe areas and green surroundings were "ground under repair." The fringe areas were characterized by exposed dirt and large chunks of thick rough. I would like to play again, but only if the course conditions are improved significantly.
Course in rough shape
For the money there are better courses in NKY. There were multiple holes with severe erosion issues. Tons of mud around the greens. They obviously did not seed any of the problem areas. The rough was very deep (to the point of looking like a weed patch in some areas). We lost several balls based on the rough. If you weren't standing on top of the ball you had no chance of spotting it. I enjoyed playing this course in past years.....not going back for a while. The erosion and bare spots will take a while to be fixed and not worth the money while the course is in such pot shape.
