COUNTRY CLUB!
Brookside is awesome. For a public course, it's a country club atmosphere. The staff, especially Chris and Gary, are always a pleasure to deal with. The tee boxes and greens are always in great shape. The layout is challenging with many elevation changes. The food at the Bog Tavern and its staff are fun and also a pleasure to see, including the Bog Truck on the course and the beverage cart. After the round, a drink at sunset with spectacular views. We feel fortunate to live in the area!
First time!
Great course shape...greens fast, beautiful with pin placement making them a challenge.
Fairways were great and ready for golf.
Staff was outstanding and will definitely play again.
Played OK Today
The Staff here is great and the course is a favorite of my wife and I's ,Chris is great guy and very nice when I show with friends or my wife to play. I look forward to playing here every time I book my Tee time. Greens had been punch awhile back and the balled ok and the place looks so ready for Spring / Summer Golf , one of the best courses I have played this early Spring, I played Plymouth courses and they were not as good of shape as this course.
Great course, good conditions, helpful staff and possibly the best food at a country club ever. Great experience!
Great Place, Great Value!
This is a no brained for guys looking to play winter golf. Greens run at a solid 9.5-10 and roll pretty good for March! The guys in the pro shop are always friendly and accommodating. We belong to a private club and the staff there really gives that vibe. Love the place and try and get there at least 5 times over the winter time.
Cape Cod Robbery
$94? Who decided that it was a good idea to charge nearly $100/round, for a track that's worth $70-$75? There are far better values, without having to go over the bridge. DUMMIES!
Tough on Bad Knees and Back
Both myself and my equally hobbled mid 60s golf pal, even though riding. found the course to be grueling on the joints primarily due to the transversing of the tees/ greens access hills and slopes. The course was wet, and the weather was cold/damp which added to the trudging. The greens were pretty bumpy due to an apparent recent aeration activity. The course is more designed for hale and hearty health jointed individual. We won't be back.
Winter golf
For a round in early Feb. the course was in good shape. Greens were fairly true and fairway grass was in good shape.
Golf in February
Took advantage of the weather, and booked Brookside because they had carts available. We have played this course many times and enjoyed it.
Had greens opened , course played well even though it's February.
Pace of play great.
