Beautiful course. I have never been to a course with no club house….. a member said it’s been like that for years…. Sad …. Golf game was great and greens were great….. I’ll be back friendly staff
Two thumbs down
I’m his course is in terrible condition. Sorry to say.
Abandoned
Course was bought 5 years ago by the group that owns Crestview. I thought they would make improvements, but instead have abandoned the property.
Needs a ton of work
Me and a friend had never played here before and constantly see it on Golf Now and decided to play it for a hot deal rate of $32. The worst $32 I've spent in a while. Course conditions were terrible. The fairways looked like a bad rough at most other courses and it was hard to tell the difference between the greens and bunkers, both were liking playing off of pavement. Hopefully the condos or housing development the owners are waiting to build will be a better use of the land.
NOT worth what paid
NOT worth what I paid. WET (other courses have dried); 2 holes closed; Tees worse than rough; trees and debris all over; no signs.
Even after dries, only worth about 1/3 of what I paid.
TeeOff should not have this course on their site.

The tee boxes are like the rough. They told me holes 12 and 13 where closed. So I said okay can we play 2 other par 4s twice then? And I got an attitude about it. Looks like 20 years ago this was a nice place. But apparently the clubhouse caught on fire 2 times is what the 18 year old college greenskeeper told me. So the club house is 20x10 shed. Broken down pool in the front filled with sludge and empty beer cans. Beat up greens. Fallen trees that have been sitting for years clearly...and they are all over the course. No landscaping kept up with. Everything overgrown. Spring and fall cleanups havent been done in years. Literally looks like ab abondined place at times and someone just bought it and opened it. They also charge a ridiculous amount for the shape there course is in. They charge a normal amount and this place is comparable to a dog track or cow pasture. They charge the same rates as nice courses and this place is absolute trash. I dont know how anyone could possibly play there twice. I saw it on this site and booked it and would never ever play there again. And I think most people play there on accident like me. Sand traps are literally all rocks. All tiny rocks. No sand. The 18 year old greenakeeper was mowing down the rough on the tee box on a par 3. I hit my shot in the sand. The employee even said I wouldnt swing my clubs in that stuff. They had us fill in a bunch of traps this morning and they say its sand but it is gr outti under rock and small rocks. Literally no sand. You can walk on it without making a footprint. The place is ridiculously over priced for the quality of play. I would maybe return if I could play 18 with a cart for say $15. Worst course I have ever seen in my life.
Not worth the money
Tee boxes were spotty. Fairways were green but VERY wet and long. Sand traps were like cement. Greens were slow and spotty. No one was there but not worthy $40+ at all. Carts are also old and ours actually broke down on the 6th hole. Would not recommend.
No Signs telling which hole your on or which way to proceed to next tee. Tee boxes in bad shape and very hard to put a tee into the ground.
Terrible Shape, burnt down building for years, owners gave up!
The course has had 2 fires, they took the insurance money and put it into anything but this course. Clippings in the fairways, no tee boxes really there dirt, course is half under water on the back with closed holes and rivers in the fairways it’s just a joke to try and charge $48 for 18 during the week they should rent the holes for practice only. Don’t waste your money, till they spend some of there’s.
Too bad
Yup it’s too bad they don’t put any $$ into this track . It has a nice layout and is close to my house . Cart paths , tee box’s and still leaves from the fall everywhere are the big issues Guess the good side was there was nobody there . I hope they know why . It’s probably a $25 with cart coarse now, not $45
Course is gorgeous, building needs fixing ASAP
The course is beautiful, Hard working couple of guys out there, for the love of god there is never complaints about this course, the building I mean come on, every year you hear it’s getting rebuilt.... do it already, but the course great job to the staff, not the owners ..... great job to the staff through out this place.
Jacque Daminga gets access to Elmcrest
Been waiting a long time to play the course as it had a very good reputation many years ago as a private club. Seems to be a club on the brink of collapse or development at first glance. Oversized tool shed and portable bathroom trailer make up the amenities, beer was available after the round. Putting green was in poor condition with the remains of a once grand clubhouse and pool nearby, ni range to warm up. As far as the course was concerned the greens rolled true, we’re firm and it very good shape when compared to the practice green, fairways good overall with some areas in need of seed and fertilizer, bunkers descent for early spring. Lots of winter cleanup still needs to be completed. Overall for the deal I got it was worth it, anything above $45 will be hard to justify, good luck to the ownership on reviving this once jewel of a cc.
Basic maintenance
Tee boxes look like the rough
Greens have burnt out spots from last year than need repair.
Nice course just needs some tlc
Not like it used to be - wow!
Course has gone down hill considerably, what a shame. Poor landscape maintenance, lots of trash everywhere. Wondering if spring clean up took place yet.
We hope the owners put more time and effort into this place - was always a favorite.
With limited amnesties like, a clubhouse or indoor bathrooms, be sure to pack your own.
Not Worth the $$
Played a few years ago and it was in bad shape. Gave it another try and they still have done nothing to improve this course. You can tell her his used to be a nice club. Now it feels like your playing in a post apocalyptic zombie land. The clubhouse burned 4-5 years ago and it’s boarded up. There’s an old semi trailer parked right in front and the clubhouse is now a portable trailer like they use at overcrowded schools. I could forgive the mess when you arrive if the course was in better shape. The greens are decent but the fringe is overgrown with crab grass and unplayable. The fairways are decent where they’re not burned out. The rough is unmanageable and was full of fallen debris from a storm 2 months ago. It’s a shame, this could be a little gem if someone who cared put some money into it.
