Great Hope Golf Course

Your greens are in really good shape compared to some in the area. The fairways and tee boxes are also good.

Wind can create a challenge on this course which makes it challenging. Lots of wild life.

Something needs to be done with the seagulls that accumulate on 15 green.

Staff was incredibly friendly and the course was great

Was expecting a little more for the great deal. I can understand wanting to protect what assets they have. Not knowing the age of the course I was impressed with the design, would have liked to have more knowledge and would have enjoyed it that much more

Great hope has plenty to offer the average golfer. This course is walkable with nice flat terrain. No houses lining the fairways to worry about. There are enough water hazards, sand traps and trees to keep things interesting. Get some practice in at the range and the putting green. I'd go back again.

played in three & a half hours . Course was in great shape as always,and the staff had my key for the cart out and ready as I walked in the door. Staff always very friendly and if you have a problem they will fix it. This is where I'll be playing this summer!!!

My Dr. told me about this course, so I thought I would give it a try! I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the course both the fairways and greens. This course can very easily compete with any course in the Ocean City area as far as quality. I particularly liked the long par 4's and par 5's, but be aware of the par 3's as they are also challenging. Overall, I was glad to find this course and plan on playing it again in the near future.

Although I drove over an hour to reach the course, it was worth every minute of it! The overall course condition was in great shape, I was especially pleased with the greens. They were excellent, and true. The course takes on a charm of it's own. I found it to be not only challenging, but a lot of fun to play. The entire staff were very friendly, and my overall experience was GREAT, and looking forward to returning with a few friends that haven't played Great Hope.

Great Hope is in outstanding condition.The rates are good and the staff is friendly. The food in the resturant is good and homade. We will return many times!

Good looking course in great shape will play again.

The Coarse in really!!! Good shape for the start of the season I think..Its just a Really nice coarse that is hard But easy because it does have a lot of openness to it but for sure some challenges also..If you miss hit,Youre in trouble..My friend and Myself like playing there a lot for 25 bucks or less sometimes on Golf Now to ride the coarse its a great deal,The Carts are Very!! Good also..Go play! you wont be disappointed I think.

Course is always in great shape....great food...usually pretty quick pace...recommend this to 1st timers too...all levels

The course was in okay shape. I liked the layout. Some additional maintenance is required to improve on the course condition.

Lot of "cute amenities " for the ladies...such as benches, bridges, and an old boat. The combination of longer approach shots and open air..wind seem to wear me out some..and the mrs.seemed to feed off it...otoh.

Open almost links style course. Greens have been aerated recently and are a little hairy so putting was a little slow. Tee boxes could be better mown, but overall given the location and summer temperatures the course is in reasonable condition.

This is a county course that has had it's ups and downs over the years and it is up for the last few years and appears it will remain. A great course for the money when it is maintained properly. Can be played quickly from the middle of the day on.

I appreciate the layout as it is not too challenging, but hard enough to make you work.

Played on a Sunday and was surprised to get such a great rate prior to 1 p.m. I've played the course in excess of 8 times over the last 2 years and was extremely pleased to see the course in such stellar condition. I'll simply say, "if you can hit your targets, you'll score well", for the rest, be ready for a test...
There are a couple holes that play longer than the score card but the par 5, 14th is reachable in two with a 280+ drive (was 5 ft for eagle). Greens quite soft and in great shape. Will for sure come back!!!!
