First Time here
Course layout is decent. For early Spring greens were decent. Tee boxes were bad, chewed up and uneven.. rough was non existent and fairways were 50/50 with respect to good grass and decent lies..
Played on a Golf Now deal $40 which is all that I’d pay to play here until they fix the fairways and tee boxes
Terrible condition
The greens were nice everything else was in poor condition. Tees were terrible, fairways were just as bad, bunkers were a mess with the liner coming up through the sand.
Fun day in March
Played our first 18 of 2024 here. Weather was in 50s and sunny Course was in winter conditions but layout was very challenging especially the back 9. Had fun all day and recommend a hot dog and few beers after your round.
Home away from home
I like Tom in the pro staff. He’s been there for quite some time and he thinks I’d save money by joining, but I play quite a bit around the country.
The Cape is my backup course
I enjoy the variety of holes It’s easy to remember when you are discussing a hole
A Monday and Tuesday golfer
I like the pro, Tom, in the pro shop. Very professional and a very likable person. Dave, the agronomist,, is a hard worker and a valuable commodity for the town of Sandwich.
Home away from home
The weather for golf hasn’t been good for outdoor golfers. I’m not that enthused with indoor golf. I enjoy being outdoors. The superintendent, Dave, is a hard working employee. He does a marvelous job with the greens. The traps are another story. The course had a lot of activity on Saturday and Sunday, but the golfers that play here are not very courteous in raking after themselves. I enjoy the variety in the landscape, and the course is not overly long, and it beats Florida golf, where there is actually land to land your balls. I’m a bogey golfer usually, and I’ve only broken 90 once here this year.
Formerly Round Hill
Now you know that I know this course. There aren’t to many players that know the former name. The superintendent, Dave, is a hard working employee.. The day we played was wet. It wasn’t a pelting rain, but not many golfers elected not to play. The greens were nice and soft; however, the sand traps were not touched after busy weekend play. I blame that on lazy players, not on the course. This is my go to course
Early Season Round
Associate in the pro shop with friendly, helpful and courteous. Apparently, the course was still on a winter schedule; it was no starter. There was no Ranger the bar and Grill closed at 4 o’clock. Golfers were on their own, despite the course, being full with many golfers out on a good day
Great January Round
I've played a number of times over the years at Sandwich Hollows and it continues to impress. January round but the course was in great shape. Clubhouse and the food is icing on the cake.
Nice course even in the off season
Well taking care of
Green ran smooth
Disappointing
The greens were good, the fairways so-so and the rough really in tough shape. The layout of the back nine is unique sand challenging. Crazy elevation changes and and doglegs. Small landing zones.
I won’t rush back.
