Could be a public course.
About as basic of a course and layout as you could possibly get, but nothing else was available so we gave it a shot. I definitely would not run back to it unless no other course was a available.
Not near the Atlantic, but worth the trip
You hear "Atlantic Country Club" in Plymouth, MA, and you imagine a flat seaside course being buffeted by the winds off of Massachusetts Bay. Nothing could be further from the truth. ACC offers serious elevation changes, rolling fairways and shots requiring precision, and sometimes length - with barely a drop of water. For a public course the greens were in very good shape, and you could almost play the ball down - it is Autumn in New England, so you will run into leaves and some turned up turf. Organized, friendly, a decent place for a sandwich and a beer. Plays was slow on the front due to one foursome playing from the backs who should have been playing from the fronts, and spending too much time looking for lost balls. Sound familiar? Overall, an excellent public course choice.
Great conditions and course
2nd time here. Greens were way better than last time and were rolling great and true. Just a really solid course. The value is better but also can't get any better when the prices lower in the afternoon on the weekends, but not like it's not worth the $90. Felt like we saw the Ranger every hole, which was annoying yet good to see because the pace was fine. Nice guy though. We were just a tad behind the group in front but we also teed off on time and they were already on the 2nd hole. Group behind teed off before we were all even on the green. Nothing bad to say about this place. It's definitely not a beginners course.
Aesthetically beautiful, challenging layout, decent greens. Great value! Best driving range inPlymouth!
Love this course
This course is always in great condition and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to playing here again.
Was in better shape a month ago, when it had 1st cut / second cut of ruff, dried out a little still great layout greens true@ fast
I was sick that morning I could not Golf wish I can get a refund
South Shore gem
Single on a Friday am, paired up with 3 similar players. Basically had the place to ourselves and went around in 4 hrs flat. Tees and greens recently aerated but recovered nicely. Minimal amenities, bring water. Cart girl available but barely. Good value, play it if you can.
Great day on The Atlantic.
Given we've been in a drought the course didn't show any signs. Great course, fast greens that hold, perfect weather. all-in-all 10!

Greens were just aerated
My son and I really enjoyed our round at Atlantic. Challenging, yet forgiving, fun course. Holes and fairways are not on top of each other. We played from the blacks. Had my driver out for all but 4 holes. Water really only comes into play on two holes. 15 and 18. 15 is a great looking hole. Its a sharp dog leg left with approach over the water if you come up short on your drive.
The course was in pretty good shape considering the lack of water we have had on the south shore. The greens had recently been aerated which made putting tough. They definitely cost me a handful or so of strokes. The only other thing worth mentioning was the etiquette of the golfers that played during the morning. Unraked traps, divets left laying in the fairways, and ball marks on the greens. But Ive also seen that on premier courses. We will definitely be back for another 18 when the greens have had a chance to fill in.
Course in great shape
The course was in excellent shape. Would have appreciated a nite at booking about the greens being aerated..
