The price has kept me away but a little help from Hot Deal rewards I thought I give it try.
Plays long and that makes it difficult for short hitters.
Will likely not play again unless it a bargain. To many holes where I am hitting a 7 wood or long iron on my second shot.
Regardless it is still a very nice course .
Stay below the hole!

First off the tee at 8am. 3.5hrs for 18 holes. Great round, Very good course conditions.

I knew the Golf Pro, so I played 18 for $35.00.
Great course and some holes were very hard.

Greens are a problem although there is a issue a most courses this year. A Saturday afternoon 18 holes water jugs are all empty no cart girl to be found, I called from course and they said we are working on it. Cart girl came by on the 18th hole.
Another example why government run anything never works.

With the exception of about 4 greens, which were a little rough, this is a fun course to play. Several of the holes require thoughtful shot making, but it is wide open enough to accommodate players of all skill levels. I played with my wife and another couple and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed the layout. Of course we got a deal online and only paid $25.00 each. The one drawback is the pace of play. Waiting for most every shot on the back nine, led to a slightly more than 5 hour round.

Normally a top course but beware the conditions this year. 6 greens were in dismal shape and some others with very distressed areas. Greens have been a strength in the past at this course. The problem is the proshop staff do not warn you of the conditions of the greens and the fact that there are temporary greens when you book or show up to pay. When asked about it afterwards the less than helpful staff said that it would take too much of their time to do so and that most other coursed in the area have the same problem which is utterly false. Not worth the money for the condition.

This is one of the nicest courses in Oakland County. It's expensive but it's worth it. The only problem I have is pace of play as it takes forever to get through 18 there.
