In good shape again
The course was in good shape again. It is good to see it back to nice conditions. You should try it.
Great experience
Went with my son he played the best that I ever saw him play beat me by 5 strokes first time ever but it's a very nice course when I go back North I'll play it again.
Descent course for practice
Greens were surprisingly in good shape you'd think people who play well enough to hit greens and leave divots would repair them. This is the problem with most courses in the area except private courses. And really irritates me!!.. Anyways, fairways and greens have been mowed and are as stated in great shape and better than previous years! Hope they keep it up! Still a bit soggy in places but that's to be expected... No problem with pace except my cart may have been older than I am (34) lol was passed by another single and I think that's why but other than that and some fallen limbs from recent storms no major concerns here! Great place for practice rounds or cheap quick 3 hour round I played less than that and take my time usually so not bad... Also course is loaded with par 4s only one 3&5 on front and back so kind of repetitive but holes go both directions you will be challenged with long and short holes not sure what else to say...
Terrible
Don't waste your time. Worst part is the staff is rude
Much Improved
I played Whiteford Valley a coupe of years ago and vowed not to return. Needed a tee time so I tried it once again, and I was pleasantly surprised with the course.
Great to see this course making a comeback.
great value
Great value and pace of play was great. Had a blast I plan on playing again.
Worth it
Greens are in great shape. Staff went out of their way to be friendly. Drought has robbed the rough as a penalty. Good scores are waiting for anyone that plays the North Course.
Enjoyable
Loved it!!! Challenging, well layed out and fun!! Will definitely play it again!!
Nice course
We have played this course several times. It is a nice course and a great value.
Great value
Played on a holiday afternoon with a foursome and was only held up by a group for a few holes that we were able to pass at the turn. Greens were very soft and a bit slow but rolled true. This course has improved tremendously this year after a few years of neglect. Not super challenging but well worth the price. Carts are old but they get you around. Ball washers need to have the liquid replaced as they smelled like a dead animal was in each one. Hit your putts firm and rather than wash your ball just get a clean one from your bag. The sand traps are definitely not sand. Hopefully this will be addressed next year. Overall a very good value for ten dollars for eighteen and a cart.
Whiteford Valley West
The course was in pretty good condition. The greens were in great shape and the grass was well maintained. The course itself was pretty easy that had wide open fairways, short rough and small trees.
Another last minute round.
I thought the course was better than the last time I played it 3 years ago.
I'd go back
The course is open for the most part, but still enough trouble in the right places. Greens were in great shape and stayed true to the line. Staff was very friendly and I will be back
Wide open
Course was in decent shape. Very wide open. For people who struggle with accuracy, this course is very forgiving.
The facilities are terrible. It seems as though this place has been operating without any maintenance work for years. Carts sputtered along, no cart paths, abandoned clubhouses, range balls were 15 years old. But since very few people were on the course, was able to play in 3 hours as a single.
Course not to bad
Arrived at course and noticed they have putting and chipping green. Played gold tees which are black at other locations. A couple of the holes were a little difficult. Most of the course was rather easy play. All the trees that made the course challenging around the creek that runs through the course have been cut down. Good fair play is what I had. Greens were rather easy. All in all good course
Thanks for playing and the nice review. Can't wait to have you back!
