Nice easy playing courses
Nice people's work there. The course is in good shape. Enjoy myself would recommend this course playing it
Much Improved
I have played this course several times over the past few years. There is new management since March of last year and the course is much improved. The fairways are cut short now, used to be like most roughs . The greens are in good shape. I booked a t-time through Golf Now and this is a great deal for the money. I played at around 1:30pm and the course was not at all congested. I think we played 9 holes in about one and a half hours.
Tree and leaf abundance
I know it's late in the year but I've never seen so many leaves on the course. Fairways covered. Greens covered. Hard fairways, lost ball on the green. No attempt to blow leaves off. Nice course in the spring or summer.
Surprisingly good course
This course is a shorter course but none the less challenging. Narrow fairways and lots of bends. Course was very well maintained and this was not the first time playing it. Hope to play 18 very soon.
Great price
Nice course, we'll maintained, friendly staff. Course is short bu challenging, very tight fairways.
New Owners have improved conditions
I golfed the course on father's day this yaer. The new ownership has made great improvements to the conditions of the fairways and greens since then. The owners (Rich and Steve) were both on-hand and were very friendly to talk with. Great food and drinks in the clubhouse.
Good deal!
Got a $10 18 hole round on golfnow! Good course, in pretty good shape.
Awesome Time With My Family!
Once a year my family and I play this course. Great to see how much the greens have improved. Struggled on the back nine :/ but shot a 48 on the front!
Great Course For a Beginner
This was one of my first times golfing, but I thought the course was challenging and fun. The food at the clubhouse was also great!
You pay for what you get
Course is a joke. Staff is hit or miss. I guess if you just want to lose golf balls and drink beer its a great place. If you want an enjoyable course stay away
1 man scramble was a hit
Played in the July 5th 1 man scramble. It was a fair format. We had prizes for first place, CTP's, and skins. Cannot wait for the next event.
Big improvements
I used to play here every July 4th for the last few years and I have noticed major improvements in course conditions. The greens are rolling very well. The fairways still need some work but are improving everyday. Definitely recommend this course. It is a bit short but the tight holes and dog legs make for a good challenge.
Great Course...New Owner!
I heard they had a new owner so I thought I would give the course one last try. I went and was amazed. The greens, tee boxes, and fairways were emaculate. A totally different course than I played before. After speaking with employees it sounds like they have a whole new staff and they have a lot more planned. We also grabbed something to eat at the restaurant after. Decent menu and good place to grab a beer after.
Pasture
First nine grass was way to long. Couldn't find your ball even in the fairways. Seemed like you were playing in the pasture. Back nine was better but not much. Dry, long grass, tee boxes weren't kept up either. Bathroom smelled like urine. Not going back.
Lot of Potential
The course is in terrible shape, we had trouble finding balls in the fairway, due to the fact that it had not been mowed.
Sad to say but the course could be a really good one, if only it was maintained properly.
The Great Cow-Pasture of the North.
What else can you say.......Just horrible. No Sand Traps....Just Foxholes. Might as well put flags in your Back Yard.
Poor Time Management
The course had set up a scramble for a half an hour after we tee'd off. The course manager Basically said that we could play the back 9 until they finished up on the front which took more than three hours. I was also a bit disappointed with the tee boxes they were very uneven and not kept very well. The womans and seniors tees were worse it was like they just threw tee markers down in the rough half the time. Which made it a lot harder for my wife to play. Bottom line save your money and play else where.
shaggy
tee boxes were as long as the fairway grass, the fairway grass was as long as the rough. and the driving range was a sorry excuse for practice area, it was like hitting out of thick rough for every iron shot! Get a mower out there guys!!!
Worst Course Ever
Course fairways were made of crab grass and clover and very bumpy surface from ground moles. Tree limbs overhanging everywhere along fairways which made it impossible to use any club higher than a 4 iron. Greens were in nice shape, but were very small. Ground was hard as a rock.
