Definitely going back taking my son!
I am so glad I headed to Dunmaglas to play that round of golf! As it sprawls over 500 acres³ the vistas valleys and course layout are spectacular! Although it’s a bit more of a drive than I would usually make for a round of golf I will most definitely be back again! The range was underwhelming, but this time I did not care!!
Curse was great
This course is very nice, when you arrive it is very underwhelming. However when you get out on the course it makes up for it. Then you get out and play and it is great. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are very well maintained. It is challenging but not unfair.
Hidden Gem
If you are up north playing the big names, Arcadia Bluffs, Forest Dunes and the like, treat yourself and your wallet to a hidden Michigan gem. This is a great course in great shape. The golf carts are dated, but able to take you up and down this hill and forest course. The greens are in great shape and are demanding but fair.
A great test of golf for any level.
Great well groomed course
My second time here. Great scenery, good variety of holes, nice use of elevation changes.
Golf with a discount and couldn't have a better round of golf , anywhere.
A little pricey but its and absolutely fantastic course.
Beautiful!
What a hidden gem! This is one of the most challenging courses I’ve played in a while. Lots of elevated tee shots and elevated greens, lots of rolling Hills. Overall a wonderful experience!
WONDERFUL STAFF AND COURSE
THE YOUNG MAN AT THE COUNTER WAS A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH AND THE COURSE WAS GORGEOUS AND DEFINITELY CHALLENGING.
Great
Excellent conditions, well maintained and great views. 5/5 Would reccomend
Beautiful Course
Had a blast playing this course and the scenery was awesome too! Thanks.
Awesome course in Northern Michigan!
Challenging course, was not disappointed a bit. Staff was great, course had many elevation changes and awesome scenic views.
Local golfer
Course in great shape. Reading the greens was more pilot error than the course's fault. Wide open on a Thurs.
Great surprise
The course was great, haven't played it for years and they have done a great job with it. Greens were the best condition I've played up north, many other courses in the area are struggling with keeping greens. Layout is visually clallenging but fair to navagate.
Hidden Gem.
Course is in perfect condition. Tee boxes, fairways and green were immaculate. Good price with Hot Deal. Only bad thing was I played by myself. Being the first time playing the course had no idea on some blind shots. Definitely would play it again.
Dunmaglas diamond in the rough
This course is a bit off the beaten path but worth it. If u can get a hot deal do it! You would expect such a nice course based on the clubhouse and old golf carts. Don’t expect the luxuries of a country club course though. Challenging yet fair for me (15 handicap)
Diamond in the Rough
Little more of an obscure course as the area is filled with an abundance of great golf.
Don’t sleep on this one though.... elevation on virtually every hole, beautiful views in every direction, this is a must-play for the $ compared to others in the area charging 2-3x more
Sweet Course
I would play this course every year if the rates were not so high.
Mid week rates are pretty high which kept me from playing this gem more often. Because of golfnow and having special circumstances are both reason why I could afford it this time.
It was a cloudy day but once we waited out the rain, there were no cars other than ours in the lot. If they lower the rates I bet this place would be jammed packed everyday! And if rain is in the forecast, throw a special rate on the internet and people would flock here to play it. Carts are gas and a bit outdated. It is truly a masterpiece hidden gem.
