Great course. Worth the trip!
Golf pro is a very nice guy. Course is one of the nicest in sanilac county.
What a value
Whenever you can golf 18 holes with a cart for $10 you never know what you will get, but this place was quite nice. It was very wet, but not their fault that we have had a ton of rain. I would recommend this course to anyone. For the money, it can't be beat.
Huron Shores
We played 18 holes with a cart. Pace was great, condition was good especially considering the amount of previous rain. We enjoyed playing and expect to do so again.
The staff is very helpful.

A Challanging Round Of Golf
The weather was perfect and the course was in very nice shape. Greens were in fine shape. The course offers lots of challenging holes, many shot selections required. Lots of enjoyment playing here. Can't wait to come back.
Favorite Place To Play
This has been My favorite place to play since the first time I played there a few years ago. Coarse conditions are always great and I love the scenic layout. Don't be surprised to see some deer on the back 9 or other wild life near the stream on the front. Not the easiest of coarses, it has some challenging holes but if you play your ball right they're easily overcome.
tournament mix up
I booked 18 hole round but when I got there a tournament was on the front. Not a problem the gave me a 9 hole rain check. Nice course pretty flat not a lot of variety, fairways and greens in great shape. Just enough trees to worry about.
I love this course!
HS has some very interesting holes and touches nature in a nice way.
Great day for the price
This was the first time out for the season. Course was in great condition. Greens were fast, but easy to read. The staff was very friendly. I had no trouble when I checked in for my tee time. Would recommend this course to anyone. There are some tough holes but the fairways are plenty wide.
A little Gem
My wife and I arrived early , but got the pro got us going right away. What a great experience , with different terrain and wooded lands. The greeens held and roll true and some different stances in the fairway. Every club in the bag are used. Planning to take friends back.
I'll be back!
Well maintained and in good shape. Its short but you still have to make your shots to score. Keeping the driver in the bag is a good choice on several holes. The greens were a little slow but rolled true. It had rained heavily the night before we played so I'm sure they couldn't get out to cut that day. You could tell they spent time on the landscaping around the course. You couldn't ask for a friendlier staff both in the pro shop and the restaurant. Food was very good! I'll go back again for sure!!
This course is great for beginners with some challenging shorter holes.
A good challenging course for beginner to moderate golfer with varying changes in terrain.
Challenging !!!!
Lots of holes have a creek to go over. If you score here you can play anywhere. Great course.
Not long but challenging
Sorry I'm tardy writing this review. We enjoyed this course so much we replayed it the same day. It's not real long but it does require some interesting shot making. Greens were in very good shape when we played in late June.
Great Deal at Huron Shores
Was pleasantly surprised, from the course's web site I assumed this would be a dull boring course, but we enjoyed it very much
Tougher than it looks on the scorecard.
Don't be fooled by the yardage. There are some holes that require carry and accuracy. Could use a shorter cut for the grass on the fairways and some deeper greenside bunkers.
This course has a really nice up north feal and is cut into some very nice terrain.
I have been playing this course for a few decades now and it only seams to be getting better and better. The up north feel includes holes that are completly surrounded by woods, elevation changes provided by the natural creeks that meander throughout and a very freindly, warm and laid back staff. I have to say it can be challenging in spots, with the dense woods, water carries and some pretty severe dog legs, but you won't sweat losing a few balls every now and then because of the beautiful country and very reasonably price. Whenever I'm in the thumb area I try to stop in to play a round.
Very short but a lot of risk/reward possibilities. Awesome scramble course as you can take it deep.
This is a little jewel of a course. It's short but there are risk reward shots and ball placement is rewarded. Don't spray it around. Front 9 dates from the 1920's and is divided by woods and a meandering creek. Back 9 is pretty flat with some weird holes that require accurate placement and distances. Nice condition. Beautiful setting on Lake Huron. Had very good food too. I've played a few scrambles there and it's a blast as you can take it deep. Lot's of fun.
