The Rogue Golf Course

Pretty short course that offers a lot of risk/rewards shot if you know the layout. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Pace of play was pretty slow, but it was very busy being the 4th of July . They did have rangers out trying to keep pace up. Good value.

We purchased the HOT DEAL for this course. We had a great round and the price couldn't be beat. The course is in better shape than it was last year when we played. Recommend!

I have played this course several times with my wife. It is a good course for slow players because it is usually not very busy. Course is in por condition. The last time I played it was covered with large Mole runs on many holes.This course is not kept up at all. Used to be a nice little course. It could be a great course if it was kept up.Very Senic.

Course was well kept with nice greens. Our golf cart ran out of gas at hole 6. Other than that great course.

Played the course only because of GolfNow and about halfway betwee playing partners. Course was very short and simple with many holes set up left to right. A nice beginners or senior course. Not much of a challenge for the better player. No slope/rating is even on the card.
The lady working the day we were there, we respectfully called "The Hardest Working Woman In Golf" as she checked us in, served lunch, and pulled a pair of newbs of #1 to put them on #10 to get them out of the way.....in 3 mins!!!! Quite impressive!

Got there on time and tee off because of a group that was in front of us. We had to play the back nine twice because they over booked themselves with two golf outings at the same time. We were not compensated nor did management offer an apology.

Friendly staff. Course in great conditIon. Great value.

A nice course out in the country. Fairways were decent but the greens were very good and some had false fronts. Got tricked a couple times on the slope of the greens, but that is to be expected when playing a course for the first time. Nice little par 3 around the river. Fun to play since you can't get in too much trouble navigating to the greens. Very friendly staff as well. I'll be back for sure.

The Rogue is my favorite course in the Greater Grand Rapids area. It's not the nicest course, but the staff is very friendly and helpful, the holes are well maintained and it is rarely ever busy. It's the perfect course for the golfer who is out to enjoy an afternoon on the course.

Course is not well maintained. You could find cart ruts in the fairway if we have lots of rain. It is usually easy to get on. Friendly staff.

Corse was very wet due to heavy rains.

THE COURSE IS DESIGNED WITHOUT TRICKERY.

IF SO INCLINED, THIS WRITER COULD KICK HIS BALL FROM TEE BOX TO GREEN ON EVERY HOLE, AND NEVER BE IN SAND TRAP OR WATER. HAZARD..

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT PLAYING GOLF IN NOVEMBER. FAIRWAYS WERE MOWED. ROUGH WAS NOT AN IMPENETRABLE JUNGLE. THERE WERE A FEW LEAVES ON THE GROUND. WE EXPECT LEAVES IN NOVEMBER..

COME TO THIS GOLF COURS WITH 14 CLUBS IN THE BAG.. EXPECT TO USE ALL 14 CLUBS. THE TOPOGRAPHY WILL REQUIRE SUCH USAGE.

WE PLAYED 18 HOLES IN 3 HOURS AND IT WAS A FUN EXPERIENCE.

WE PLAN TO RETURN.

Although it was nice being able to just show up and play, it should have been a sign. With large areas of turf brown and slow greens the course has some improvements to make before i play again.

Two sets of tees. Under 5400 from the back and 4300 from the forward, so not a lot of challenge in distance. Water on half the holes, but it really doesn't come in to play much. Some sand and trees. Basically, this is a course that will make you fell better about your golf game (my ego can sometimes use a little help on the course). Course is pretty well maintained, but could use some work. No practice range, so that's a negative. Old gas carts that need "encouragement" to get going. Staff is friendly and overall a good bargain. Course wasn't really busy and we were able to get around in less than 3 hours on a nice Sunday morning/afternoon.

Staff really unconcerned about 6 groups backed up on hole 4. When marshall did ride by, very dissmissive and we were told he could do nothing to speed play. At the turn, the club house let groups out before us and made our round of golf last just over 5 hours. The course is in very good shape. I would suggest a little better customer service. I will not play here again.

A very friendly course. If you're looking for a course to go have fun and score well, this is the course for you. Plenty of challenge but you don't have to be a long ball hitter to score well.

Slow greens. Average fairways. Short. Old school design.

Great out of the way course with friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. Course plays quicker than the usual four hour round and is in great shape this year, greens are well maintained and putt true to the read. A great place to relax and just play golf.

Other golfers on the course were awful and had no course etiquette

Overall I was very happy paying $20 for 18 and a cart.
I will be back.
