cheap course
I last played this course in an MGA qualifier 2 yrs ago and the course hasn't been touched since. Bunkers have ant hills & #3 had weeds growing in it and weren't dragged with the John Deere, poor water drainage due to rain on 6-8 holes, tee boxes haven't been touched in weeks, greens are nice but could have repaired another 6 divots each hole. I had my 1st hole-in-one on the 5th hole 2 yrs ago and the course never bothered to post it in the Mpls Star Trib even after I filled out the proper paperwork. I emailed/called the head pro to let him know I'd like it printed in the Mpls paper but he instead put it in an article in the Princeton paper. I guess times are tough for them to fork over the money to print it in the Mpls paper. He never returned my messages why he didn't post it in Mpls paper. Does that sound bitter? IALTO
Fun
Diverse course, nice greens. Tee boxes need help but still a good value.
Nice day
Tough course. Some challenging holes. A few wet spots and 1 green with some mold issues, otherwise in great condition. Our round was 3.5 hours which is a great pace. The sand traps were pretty hard to get out of. I guess next time I will avoid them.
Didn't eat there but 2 waters and 2 Powerades was only $6.
The course needs help..
Greens were slow, holes were hard to play due to the lack of markings and how to play the hole from the tee.. Not enough signs to see where to go from hole to hole.. All around 1 of the worst courses I have played in a while.. Only good thing was pace of play because no one was out there...
Low Quality Experience
No Food available w/ the exception of a cheese pizza which I haven't had since I was 9. Pro Shop closed. Course is in poor condition.
Not bad
Some of the holes reminds me of playing Golden tee. 2 holes that the tee box and greens at a 90 degree angle. Some very small greens too.
Excellent Staff
I played the Princeton course a couple times a year on the average. I've found the staff is especially helpful and friendly and the course well maintained under the current weather conditions. I would recommend the course to anyone willing to drive a few miles for an excellent golfing experience
This course has some challenging holes. Dog legs and such
We have played this course several times over the past few years. the condition of the course is good considering they have been dealing with high water and wind damage currently. There are a couple of spots that have standing water where it wouldn't normally be.
Course seems old and tired. Could be very nice with more attention and investment.
Greens are a bit too difficult for the rest of the course's attributes.
