Excellent Conditions For April & A Difficult Golf Course

Meadowbrook is one of the underated country clubs in St. Louis. Always in great condition and is a very challenging course. Many fairway bunkers and elevated greens that are protected by greenside bunkers. The green complexes are interesting and difficult. You're not going to have a lot of double bogeys are worse but it is a challenge to get pars.

The staff is always helpful and wonderful.

Excellent Conditions On A Difficult Track

I finally got to play the entire 18 holes after the renovation of the course. I did get to play the back nine about a month ago.

The course basically looks the same except for the countouring of the bunkers. Hole 7 had some added bunkers on the left side of the fairway and some trees removed on the right side. It has high fescue to the right of the green for those who try to drive the green.

The condiitioning of this course is excellent. Nicest course I've played this year.

It is a difficult track. From the white tees of 6,290 yards, it has a rating of 71.4/135. I find it easy to get a bogey on each hole but difficult to get a par. The course has tight landing areas with bunkers on both sides, difficult green complexes, many holes with an elevated greens and rolliing fairways to give you uneven lies. Many bunkers greenside also.

Incredible Conditions

I've played Meadowbrrok C.C. numerous times but have not played it since the redesign.

I only played the back nine (which is my favorite nine) in a couples event. The changes made are so subtle, but they make the course even more prettier. The first thing you will notice is the pinching in of the fairway bunkers. It is a more demanding course from the tee.

The course was in incredible condition. I haven't played a course this nice in a long time.

They have moved to a more nostalgic feel/theme of the course. Using the the year the course opened (1944) in all their branding. The flagstickes are made of wood and the flags are a blue & white theme.

Fairly changeling course

White tees are over 6,300 yards. Somewhat difficult to reach the green in regulation for the average golfer. Many holes are tight. Waterholes are not difficult. Very quiet surroundings far from any freeway are heavily traveled road way except on signature hole 15 which is beautiful. Fairways are immaculate. Greens have some undulation and can be tricky.
