Solid Muni
Not a long course by any stretch, but provides challenges with a number of tight windows for both drives and approach shots. The greens were in great shape, too. I will be going back this summer.
Good and getting better
The course is in good shape and the greens are in great shape. There is a lot of work being done on the course, from a new path being put in around hole number 3 to flower beds being put in on hole 8, but it doesn't disturb play at all. The management and friendly staff seem determined to make this course as nice as possible. It looks like it is on the way to becoming a hidden gem.
Nice experience
First time playing here in 30 years. It’s exactly as I remember, just a well kept nice track. The layout allows for play to keep a nice pace. It’s May, but the grass was in nice shape, from tee to green. The greens were a nice treat and rolled well. The only issue was with the staff. The man at the counter was as unfriendly as could be, and the marshal was highly aggressive. We were not aware of the “cart path only” for the first hole. He treated us like we had just driven our car on the course. My golf partner mentioned that they both acted as if they had just been scolded by their supervisor.
Staff Dislikes GolfNow
Each time I've played, the older gentleman behind the register ridicules our group for booking through GolfNow. I informed him that the course website does all their booking through GolfNow, so it doesn't matter if I book through their own website or the GolfNow app. He doesn't understand technology and insists on telling his customers how stupid we are for using the booking system that someone at a higher paygrade than him has chosen. I don't play at your course to be ridiculed every time I'm trying to give you money.
Great day
Great afternoon golfing, course in great shape, even though the weather wasn’t good. Hope to play again soon.
Slow Pace
Took nearly 2 and a half hours to play 9 holes. Won’t be going back.
Nice Hidden Gem
This is right next to Lambert, but tucked away in a really nice wooded area. It's a nice 9-hole that's been maintained by a caring staff. You can always tell by the conditions of the course coming right out of winter - and it was definitely a play-ready course.
Great weather, great course
Played golf on a Sunday afternoon, expecting the worse, but really surprised with the pace of play. Fairways and greens are pretty good, considering the time of the year. We will be back.
Decent 9 hole
I play this course when I’m short on time and need to stay nearby. I got caught behind a walker and an elderly 4some so the pace was extremely slow this round.
Decent 9 hole track, in good condition.
I recently relocated to St. Louis and found this little track for a quick 9. The fairways are healthy and the greens are medium speed. Decent course, decent price.
Sweet!
Berry Hill is a great little 9 hole course, lots of trees and good amount of elevation change. On blind shots they have systems set up for golfer safety which is a nice touch as you will normally have a group in front of you and behind you on the weekends!
