Tell people when the greens are not in play
I played yesterday and even when I picked up the cart nobody told me the greens were actively being worked on and you couldn't putt on any holes.
Good course
Usually it isn’t packed but it’s early in the season and it was a nice day. Course is tough but fun to play. Feels like the perfect amount of golf and it’s more than affordable.
JFT Review
This course turned out to be a pleasant surprise with more than what you might expect. I was thinking it was a pretty flat layout just running back and forth in parallel through relatively flat piece of ground. After the first hole, that tremendously changed and you realize how much the course opens up to the north behind the clubhouse. There are some pretty good holes especially numbers three, five and six. I think that those who manage the course know what they have and they do a pretty good job with keeping it in playable shape considering what has to be a fairly limited budget. It is a good value for the money and the pace of play the day I played was outstanding as I got done in about 3 hours and 15 minutes for 18. If someone is looking for a very reasonably priced green speed and a very accessible layout and it's friendly to the entertain immediate skill levels, this is a good choice.
Magical
I love this course. It feels like you are in another country or an older time. The religious building and village surrounding it just doesn’t even seem like it would be in Lee Summit. Great treat. Posh carts. Laid back course. Lots of open drives. 10$ for the biggest basket of range balls. There’s even 7-12$ cigars in a lil box. Hole 9 you get to drive OVER a cute old building downhill then up the hill again to a green. One of the strangest most memorable lil magical courses in the KC area. I drive from Lawrence and it’s worth it every time. It’s usually pretty affordable to go around it a second time if you’re trying to get 18 in.
Great time for a 9 hole
Had a blast playing with the gents at this course. Was my first time and the staff was awesome. Loved the layout and will definitely be back.
Great course great staff...
Great course, carts are very plush and comfortable
Unexpected
Sorely disappointed it was only a 9 hole course, would not have paid for 18 holes. Other than that, the course was greatly maintained and the staff was extraordinary.
Great course
Great course for a quick 9 holes. Price is right and the course is wide open, great for beginners
