Great price and friendly staff
Course wasn't in great shape but the staff was friendly and we golfed 18 with a cart for just $20! Can't beat that anywhere. Lots of different holes and makes you use all your clubs.
fun course! go play this one!
We had a great time, course was harder than we thought, but was fun. lots of challenging holes. Cant wait to go back and play again.
great value
Great value booking through golf now. Course conditions were good for the time of year. Staff very friendly and helpful as always. the gentleman in the clubhouse, pro is probably the nicest in town.
Not bad
Course was in ok shape. It is early in the year so there was a lot of light spots on the fairway. The greens are very small.
Greens and Fairways were beautifully maintained.
this course was in trouble last year and they have improved it tremendously! Very green, clean, rough was deep though. Greens were in good shape even with recent aeriation. Incrdible value through golf now on a "Hot Deal".
Rough
The rough was so thick that you couldn't find balls that were 5 yards off the fairway.this slowed the pace down to a halt. I'm all for rewarding fairways hit but it isn't supposed to be U.S. Open conditions for the average golfer.
Small greens with quite a bit of undulation make it a nice, challenging track.
I was very pleased woth the challenge and layout. Excited to play it again now that I have seen it once. Very pleased.
Generally easy layout relies on circus greens for protection.
It appears as though there was little effort to build greens resulting in several on the sides of hills w/ severe slopes. Not a fan of pin placements where it's virtually impossible to stop the ball from rolling.
Skipping around the course
Had a good time and since we teed off at 5:30 and were a two some, we skipped around the course when it would get backed up ahead of us. Actually only played about 14 holes, but it was still a good value for $20 per person with a cart.
Mow your lawn
Course was in terrible condition. Fairways were almost half length of first cut, like hitting out of short rough. Tee boxes had long grass also. The rough was so long you couldn't find your ball unless you were right over it. Every hole had this problem. Cart lady came only once. To many people booked on the course. Super slow pace.
Not even worth the $15 for 18 and a cart. Spent more in lost balls that rolled off of the fairway into the 2nd cut.
Mow your lawn.
Weekend Duffer
Staff was excellent
The course was very full but it was the day before Memorial Day so that was to be expected. The pro shop staff was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. I was impressed.
Great course for any golfer
This is a fairly good course to play for amatures with moderate distances from tee to flag on most holes. The open fairways favor those that pull or slice the ball giving a better then average chance to recover and put you in scoring position. The water hazards and elivated fairways give a unique challenge that comes into play on several holes.
Fun course. Very good condition.
Pro was very helpful. A lot of fun holes. Was able to play it down without a problem.
Nice golf outing
18 holes at a Lincoln golf course. Great price. Decent course maintenance. It's April, so the weather hinders that a bit.
Quirky, but fun course
I walk every course I can--I've walked every long course that everyone says you just should not and never had a problem. This course allows walking, and is a good value for the money. There are some quirks, such as the OB's between fairways, which I dislike because I think this is gimmicky, but they are clearly marked, which is fair.
Perhaps the oddest thing is the very odd routing of the holes. Often after finishing a hole, you will be just yards from another tee block that would seem to be the obvious next hole, only to find one needs to walk an entire par 4 or even par 5's distance in the opposite direction to get to the next hole. It was no problem, since I've walked far longer courses, but if you want to walk, count on walking about twice what you might be expecting! Either that, or rent a cart.
Fun course, though.
Great value
Early spring and windy conditions, but course in solid shape and I look forward to playing it again soon.
Great country feel
I like the country feel of this course of this course and elevation changes.
What Fairways???
The deal was shot from the start.....We booked a tee time for ALL YOU CAN PLAY starting at 2:30. When we get to the course we are informed that we might not even be able to get in 18 due to the fact they had a 530 league. What a crock. The fariways are horrible. I would call them the weedways. Not much grass at all. The Hidden valley golf course should stay HIDDEN!! I cant even begin to think why people would choose to play a league at this course!!!!!
