5 hours, but fun
Definitely a difficult course. Far more difficult than other courses in the area. I would have had a terrific time if it weren’t for the pace of play. We had to wait before nearly every shot on every hole on the front nine. Despite this, the ranger sent a group off the back 9 right when I was making the turn. I teed off a little after 11am and finished just before 4pm. Definitely not ideal
Great Day the course is a little tight on some holes but open on others It's a shot maker's course The greens ran true and fast We played with a couple that new the course and it helped alot they were Great too We definitely will be back when we're in the area
Well Cared For, Poor pace
Place was awesome at beginning of the season. Pace of play is horrible and staff had a bit of an attitude which was never the case. Started on one with a three party back up but then there was no one playing holes. 5-9.
Beautiful Golf Course
Played yesterday with my Dad. They paired us up with another Gentleman, not a problem he was very friendly and helped us look for our balls. Course was in great condition, beer girl came often, driving range and putting green were fantastic. It is totally worth the money. Would recommend.
Slow
I was playing by myself and the other guys I was paired ip with had someone that was almost 30 min late. They made me wait for him and sent out other groups. The result was 9 holes in 3 plus hours.
Great all around course at great price
This course is a great public option to those looking for a challenge. Great conditions, friendly staff, and wasn’t too crowded on a week day.
Midweek Summer Visit
Fair amount of elevation changes, which I enjoy. Course not particularly long, but lots of opportunities to lose your ball in woods. But not unfair in any way. Course in good condition. Greens in good shape. Wish tees were a little more level. But no excuse for the way I hit it.
Staff quite friendly.
Will go again. Good value for the money.
Tough course but fun to play
Definitely a course you can’t rush any stroke. Narrow fairways make for no give but reward when you hit well. We felt rushed from the group behind us but besides that we loved it.
This course is great.
It greatness, comes from it being so challenging. Kept in great shape by it's staff. Just beautiful.
There should be a third button where it says would you recommend this course to a friend yes or no they should be a maybe

Couples day of golf
Very friendly staff especially the starter! It was fun yet challenging... narrow fairways on back 9 and that’s where we started
Very fun course
Very fun, challenging course. The layout is narrow, forcing you to pick the right club and make the right shot. In the fall the trees were beautiful. The greens in particular were in fantastic condition, rolling quick and true. Some tee boxes were under repair, which is good because they were the weakest part of the course. Staff was incredibly friendly, but the pace of play was quite slow. Nearly 5 hours for 2 people in a cart.
Great value
One of the better layouts in New England. Conditions are usually fine and the greens roll true, but not overly fast. For some reason this course gets little play, which is great because you can expect a 3 1/2-4 hour round most times. Price is right and it’s a test of golf. Highly recommended.
Windham Country Club offers challenges
Five rounds in 4 days has come to an end. Learned along the way. Green placement, difficulty to hold, relatively small size, and strategically placed natural and man-made hazards gives you the challenge that makes that shorter hole a boost. I guess the only negative to speak of is if you miss the fairway, the rough is just deep enough that it swallows the ball making it difficult to find. lengthens the time need to play the round. While hitting the fairway shouldn't be a concern , the contour of the fairway line cut may give you the impression that that blind tee shot would land clear , only to find the fairway bend left you off line.
Only tips i would give is to keep your driver in the bag, use a soft ball to spin on the green and, don't forget to stop at Mulligan's after your round, the staff is very friendly.
Windham CC Quality and Value
I am a mid-handicap bogey golfer I played the course this morning as I have for the last 20 years on Sunday mornings and am always impressed with the greens, conditions of the fairways, attention to course detail and overall challenge and great entertainment value that WCC offers. This course is very challenging, many holes that are par-able and a handful that you can birdie. It makes for a terrific round for average and above average handicap golfers who prefer target golf and variety of approaches and provides thoughtful greens. There are no blind shots, only a few doglegs, and enticing par 3’s. The staff are professional and the best in the business. Jay and Bob, and Joann embody the company culture and give me reason to return weekly. You will absolutely love this course and atmosphere when you play there.
course condition not great
Greens in great shape but the fairway is the worst. Crabgrass, bare spots, just not great, not even good. I haven't played here in a couple of years but the conditions have fallen off. You were better off hitting out of the rough.
