Slow play.
I walked the east course. Played with another gentlemen that was very nice who had a cart. Had a foursome in front of us with carts. Waited on every hole with every shot. 5 hour round. Started at 1:30 and didn't see cart girl until 3.5 hours into round. Does she cover both east and west? Not sure. But 90 plus degrees out. No water to drink on course. I was dying. If it wasn't for Bob, the nice gentlemen I played with, I would have left after 9 holes. Course in great shape though. Knuckleheads need to fix ball marks on greens. Tons of them.
Mercer Oaks East
Brilliant early morning, staff that makes you feel as if you are old friends, and excellent course conditions all came together for an enjoyable round. I’ll be back…
Water
As we prepared to tee off we were told to grab the cart girl when we see her - she was working both the East and West course and that there was no where to refill a water bottle on the course.
It was the hottest day of the year,
Mercer Oaks has the 2 quality courses, played West last week and East for the first time in a few years,
Good conditions - no complaints but they really should provide water stations on the courses.
Played this course again
And will continue to do so. They gave us a free use of the cart for July 4th so that saved us $16. We did have a 10 minute down pour but the course absorbed that relatively quickly.
Fun course
Fairways were a bit sketchy...but greens were in good shape.
Sad to see a good course gone BAD.
Both East and West used to be in fairly decent condition, but sadly, those days are long gone.
Bunkers rate a zero out of five.
Tee boxes , 2 out of five.
Fairways, 2 out of five.
Greens, 2 out of five.
Water in the ball washers ??? Not a chance.
Drinking water on the course ?? NOPE.
Mercer Oaks Always Delivers
Great course. Perfect weather. Had a god time. Would recommend to others
It shouldn’t take 4.5 hours
I’ve played this course many times and always am impressed by the layout and condition. However the people in front of were beyond slow as they had over a full hole gap in front of them. Really could have used a marshal at some point.
Nice course, longer than most causing more use of fairway woods and hybrids.
A course you must be in the fairway and be super accurate.
Awesome...considering the time of year.
I really like MO-East. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pace of play is excellent, just under a 4-hour round on a Sunday! I have two gripes: 1) The greens have not yet recovered from the aeration (I know it is early, but they were almost unplayable); 2) The bunkers were mostly in good condition, however, very few had even one rake.
Great Mercer County Course
My group played on Saturday 4/22. Pace of Play was slow but it was the weekend. Course was a lot of fun. Conditions were great for spring. Clubhouse food was average but decent. Prices were good.

Pace of play for afternoon tee time
Played at 3pm tee time at Mercer Oaks East on Sun. The pace of play was so slow that we needed to finish after 9th hole. If you play on weekend afternoon, be aware. Generally there is no ranger to maintain the pace of play.
