Le Roy Country Club
About
LeRoy Country Club is conveniently situated just 25 minutes from downtown Rochester and less than an hour from Buffalo. It's one of western New York's most accessible public golf courses. The course opened in 1930 as the first public nine-hole layout in LeRoy. The creation of the golf course was spearheaded by Orator Woodward, youngest song of Jell-O magnate Donald Woodward. He believed the landscape of rolling hills and meandering streams was the ideal setting for a round of golf. The natural contours of the terrain helped to determine the placement of the bunkers. Water comes into play on a few holes at LeRoy Country Club, most notably on the finishing two. A large lake on the 17th turns into a creek that wanders across the middle of the final par-3 hole.

Got a great deal for $15 plus fees....well worth playing here...nice front 9, nack was wide open but nice also
Pleasant Surprise
Paid less than $20 to ride 18 holes, was very satisfied with the experience. Not a very difficult course for a low handicap, but presents some challenges nonetheless. Range is irons only, carts were old, holes were not marked well are only complaints. Greens are true and consistent, well maintained.
great condition
Staff very friendly. Coarse in great condition. Nice pace of play. Would recommend to any golfer to play. Will not be disappointed
LeRoy golf
passing thru back to Canada stopped played here .It was good course greens were great fairways were pretty good ,bunkers were not raked ,overall good value.
Nice/Fun Course
I am not an experience/good golfer. I found it challanging and well kept. I would recommend this course to new comers to the game or experienced players.
Avery good Day
This is in very good shape and can be very difficult if played from the longest tees. a reatbuy for the price.
This course just a average golf course
This course has very good water drainage Do not find any wet spot even we have rain so many days before. Course is average . Do not find anything special about it. With this hot deal play it is worth to play if you live around this area
Pace of play was very good.
Not too too fast and not too slow. We were able to play at a pace we like.
Great hamburger at the turn and great wait staff.
nice course, great value, not overly booked
recommended for anyone who enjoys golf and looking for a good deal as well.
Great course for the price.
Liked playing here, very accomodating staff and the maintenance
was great.
A good course with some challenging holes
missing some yardage markers on some of the holes.
Interesting layout and fun to play
Course was busy but play was not held up to bad. Great value to play.
slow play
stuck behind two three-somes of women who joined up......TO BECOME A SIX-SOME ON HOLE NUMBER TWO. We had to wait behind them on every hole and couldn't find a ranger or employee to complain to. Took a break at the turn and thought we lost them, but when we got over the hill at ten.........THEY WERE STILL IN FRONT OF US!!! We hit into them a few times and they eventually let us play through......ON THIRTEEN!!! Thanks for the five hour round, ladies!
Great venue for a reasonable price
The coarse is well maintained and is an interesting track to play. Lots of hills, mature trees and quick greens. Pace of play was acceptable. Would play this layout again.
nice course but needed some maintenance in a few spots.
nice course for the price we paid...was very hard to figure out where the next tee was at times, course could use some signs....
Good course for the money
Good condition, a little bit shorter and under construction in spots, some challenging holes, some easy, fun to play if you are looking for economical play!
Nice day
Nice course.good mixture of short and long holes.Did good job of repairing flood damage from all the heavy rain area has had.
Good value
Good course for the money. Good layout and well-maintained for the price. Staff is always friendly as are the other golfers there.
Had a fun game
We enjoyed our round at this club. It was a morning Tee off time and the course was not crowded at all. We were able to play at a pace that we enjoy. The course was a little long for a novice golfer and the arrangement of holes on the back 9 was a little strange ( come back to the club house on 16 and then do two short par 3 holes beside the club house) There was some repair work going on during our round but it did not cause any problems
Hidden Treasure
Played years ago. Only 45 min from Buffalo. Friendly staff, true greens, great value, plan to play again.
Were glad you enjoyed your experience at Le Roy CC. We are currently fixing some of the issues you brought up. Hopefully next time you have a more enjoyable experience.
See you soon management.
