Fun course to play
Holiday Hills is a fun course to play because of the forgiveness that it provides on the occasional errant tee shot. The course has great scenery as well as well laid out bunkers and water on several holes. Tee to green elevation changes are fair and the greens played at a comfortable speed with the exception of hole 10. This green was small and extremely fast. Most fairways are wide open with the exception of a few. Pace of play was exceptional on the front 9, but somehow we became backed up on the back 9. waited to tee off for about 10 minutes on 14.
This is a great course in Branson for learning the game as there were not too many tough lies and the rough is manageable and resulted in a very laid back day at the golf course.
Alot of bunkers and very challengingwith alot of trees also
It was a great place and the fairways and greens were awesome . Would definitely recommend this course for sure.
Great way to get away
My business partner and I booked this course as he was in town. I'm sure that most people discount this course over the others in the area but we had one of the best experiences here. First off the pro shop staff were fantastic!! They had us checked in and ready to play in just a few minutes. This may not seem that big of a deal but the place was packed!!! They had a cart for us ready to go and the one thing that stuck out to us was they had staff to spend time with everyone there to make sure they were prepared for the round. Told us where the trouble spots were, natural areas how to use the GPS and were sincere in the offer of what they could do to make our round more enjoyable. Course was immaculate and well groomed with again staff out raking bunkers, attending to mowers and two course management staff asked if we needed anything while we were out!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PLAY A ROUND HERE!!!
Short but challenging
Tricky little course. Short but challenging. Really enjoyed it
A woman friendly course
We have played here many times before and always try to play when we visit Branson, MO. The course has some challenging holes but all in all I think is "Lady friendly" golf course but still great for my husband to be challenged as well. I would recommend this course for any golfer out for a fun day of golf.
Wind blown day!
The wind was so strong, very few golfers were on the course. Felt like we had the course to of ourselves.
Exellent features
My grandson and I had a grant time at Holiday Hills.
We spent his Spring Break in Branson, MO. Our day at the golf couse was a blessing. Chester
Great layout...some challenging holes...nice course!
Despite the dreary weather, we really enjoyed playing. I loved the GPS included in the cart! Fairly open layout with some sand bunkers that will test your skill.greens were fast . Course is one we definitely will come to play again on a nice dry day !
Fun course to play
Came to course as a single and was paired with another couple. Enjoyed playing with them and had a good time.
Maybe better in the summer
It was Christmas Eve and despite 65 degree weather, the course looked like it had already shut down for the winter. Neither the golf shop or the grille staff wanted to be there. I come to Branson several times a year and won't play this course again.
Not Worth The Money
First of all let start by saying I know its the last week of October, so course conditions are not going to be the same as they would be in June or July, BUT...the fairways were hard and were like hitting off bare ground. Most of the greens were in terrible shape as far as ball marks and gouges. The fringe by most greens had crab grass growing, as did the fairways - that's about all that was growing in the fairways. The bunkers were in unbelievably bad shape - it was obvious they had not been maintained for days. Many not raked by golfers who had hit from them, not that it would make much difference anyway. Most bunkers had as much stones and gravel as much as they had sand/dirt/mud. We are not talking small stones here, 1 inch rock is common - hit them with your club could be some serious damage. One hole had a temporary green, no one mentioned that to us when we checked in. Didn't find it out till you walked up to the green you thought you were hitting to only to find out it is 15 yards in front of what you thought was the green. You guessed it, was like putting in the fairway. The only good thing I have to say about the course is that the staff was friendly and the GPS in the carts is a bonus. This course should not be charging more than $20 to play this time of year. Any more than that, spend your money at a different place and get your moneys worth.
Lots of fun
It was a goof time spent on my weekend.both my friend and I had a great time.
Holiday Hills
Short course, great for Seniors, nice course for women and men, super price.
Nice course
Nice course for the price And the staff were very friendly
Lacking a few necessities
Nice course for a quick round in Branson. But there are a couple of drawbacks. First, no range, so no real warm-up. Second, some key parts of the course are not well maintained. I played poorly enough to be in four bunkers and in every one of them I was in someone's divot. This problem was compounded by the fact that the bunkers were obviously not raked by the staff very often. They clearly had not been tasked since the last rain. Also, one hole was playing with a temporary green, but neither the front desk nor the starter mentioned that.
Favorite course in Branson
I absolutely love this course. I always have a great time playing here. It feels like home
