Great course great value
The course was in great shape, plenty of variety and a great mix of challenging yet accessible holes
80’s Golfer
First time player at Pevely Farms this year. Was in good condition and played 18 holes in 3?Hrs. And 22 minutes.
Loved the round.
Always a great time at Pevely.
Great course. Let a twosome and (2) singles play through our foursome. Not a big deal, but it added significant time to our round. Fortunately, we were enjoying a great day of golf.
Slow, slow, slow
Pace of play was very slow on a Saturday. Design of course supports slow play given the short par 4’s and short gaps between 1st tee times.
Not an enjoyable golf experience.
Forgot the Challenge
The course is in great shape. It’s easy to get caught up in playing the flat links courses and you think you are a superstar then you play Pevely Farms and the challenge begins. On a few holes your ball may roll from right to left or vice versa. Play it smart and use your gps, you will have a great round.
Best course in STL
This was the best course I have played in St. Louis. The course was in amazing shape. It was challenging without being too difficult.
Really Beat Up
This course has no business charging the second highest public prices in St. Louis. $90 at 1045am on a Saturday for $40 conditions.
Greens were beat up and had major patchwork going on. No control on golf cart management letting everyone drive every where in the rough causing the rough to be flat. You could see where people were cutting corners on the cart path even within 100 yards of the green. Course needs some rope fences to keep people on the path.
Tee boxes were okay, grass was a touch high but maybe it was the day before mowing so it was acceptable.
Nice Course
Nice course, visiting from Florida. Played as a single and it was a long hot day. Played behind a foursome of elderly people playing a money game. It took forever. There was no where to go so I was stuck behind it. Staff was very friendly and course is an excellent condition. Cart girl was very nice and talk to me while I waited on course. Would have been a great day if the people in front of me would have met me play through.
Course Marshall could have been a little more friendly and cheerful.
Great course!
Overall, the course was very well maintained, course markers were easy to read, tee boxes had grass, and the greens were in good shape. The staff friendliness was great as well. The course Marshall was telling jokes, the beer cart girl was very friendly and the course porter cleaned our clubs as we we’re leaving the 18th hole.
Lots of Doglegs
This Arthur Hills course has a lot of character. The area has had a lot of rain this spring so the course was not exactly firm and fast. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The driving range is huge as is the putting green. Pace of play was good for the front nine then things bogged down, it was a five hour round. That said it was the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. The course features many holes with doglegs and lots of terrain. There were not many level lies to be found. The greens were a bit bumpy and slow. Overall it was a beautiful day and an interesting course.
Marshall Was All Over the Front Nine
The Marshall drove by us 7 times on the front nine. We played the Front in less than two hours. The Good news was he kept pace of play going....the bad news was it was like having a gallery watching us.
