Top Course, Friendly Staff
Superb greens, superb fairways, course in perfect condition and friendly staff.
Andrea and Mark deserve a mention as well, both absolutely spot on and will 100% be coming back to play soon.
Highly recommend.
Quality course and friendly staff
Greens superb, fairways superb, tees superb.
Big mention goes to the friendly staff, particularly Andrea and Mark who are absolutely spot on.
Highly recommend this course, a good test that punishes you for stray shots.
Will 100% be visiting again soon.
Top Course in the NorthWest
Really enjoyed my first outing on Lee Park. Greens are tremendous and really make you think about your putts. Course layout is excellent also with strategically placed bunkers, a real thinking golfers course. friendly staff also :)
Communication
I booked this on line, I turned up and there were no staff around? We had a Tee time but 2 groups of members went out before us so we played the back 9 first. A bit disappointed to find that we had to use matts on the fairway! If this was advsertised then I would not of booked this course today, saying that I can understand the reason as to why due to the drainage of the course.
Green have got a lot of promotion on their website but I was a bit disappointed with them, Yes I know it is early season but they do promote USPGA green all year round!
When you play a course you would like to walk away and say you would come back again, Yes I would go back but hopefully it will be in better weather, this course does have potential to be nice in the summer but not in the winter months.
Best course in the city
As the title says. Just a few balls n tees for sale would be nice. I lost more then a few
Great price for a great course, would play here again an recommend to a friend.
What a course
Greeted by a friendly starter and bar staff.
The course is in excellent condition, not to burnt like alot of course's in the area.
Greens were fast and true.
Great Course
Course In excellent condition. Well maintained. Attractive water features. Perfect greens. Suit players of all handicaps. Extremely friendly staff and club members from start to finish - the very opposite of the stuffy golf club. Highly recommended and good value for money.
Course is good normally but not this time
Lee park is normally good to play but no way should it be open in these conditions. Paying customers, cheap deal or not, who are not members are shortchanged, in unacceptable conditions. Heavy Muddy areas everywhere, with thick grass left uncut around the greens making some shots unplayable. Plugged balls into both fairways and greens, and if you miss the fairway by a few feet, it's lost, due to the rough and sludge. The level of mud and sludge underfoot was awful, with shoes and trousers covered with mud half way up the legs! It was obvious after the first hole how this was going to go. Stop and demand a refund, or grin and bear it? Lee park is great for the casual golfer who isn't a member elsewhere, but taking bookings with the course in such a bad state is wrong. Best to return in the spring when course is back to normal.
Best Green and very friendly
First time played on this course. Just awesome. The manager Steve came and introduced himself. Really down to earth. So was the lady caddy master. Very nice course. I play hcp 14 and managed to score 1 under nett. Will definitely come back and highly recommended and good value for money.
Interesting course
A really interesting golf course; it is not supposed to be long but seemed quite long. Many 'dog legs' make it different - I will be back again soon, course in great condition
So good we joined
Third time playing Lee Park via teeofftimes. Best greens in Merseyside.
Some challenging par 3s, well protected greens, excellent runoffs.
So good we joined.
Lee park
Very nice coarse with very quick greens but a little congested on back 4 holes
Good course,in good condition.Really friendly welcoming staff.
excellent course
Friendly staff made you feel welcome
Pace of play was good apart from the green keepers working on the greens in front of us on about 7 holes on the run
That good going back soon
Excellent 18th and 19th
8am start so course clear. In pretty good condition considering the current stormy weather. Greens were excellent. New water feature (about 2 yrs ago) on the 18th makes this a very pleasing closing hole. Special rate of £16 for early start so very good value.
Minor problem - could not get through the barrier until member with card arrived.
