Mission Inn Resort & Club - El Campeon Course
Played On 10/14/2017Beautiful Historic Course
This was our first time playing this course but was very excited. It was absolutely gorgeous. It was a little wet, but to be fair, there had been quite a bit of rain. I'm more accustomed to a flatter course so this changing elevations course caught me off-guard a few times. And, WOW!, those par 3's!!!! You better be accurate with those short/mid irons or bring plenty of balls!! I sure sacrificed some to the water gods!! I hope to play this course again in the near future!

Played On 05/11/2016Horrible greens!
The greens were mostly dead and it was near impossible to get a straight roll from the ball due to the dead or dying grass or red clay bumps. Fairways were a little long but at least they were green.
Marcus Pointe Golf Club
Played On 07/30/2015Tough, beautiful course but don't get off the fairway!
This is a beautiful course and some tricky tight fairways which brings me to my only complaint. There are many Hills on this course that obscure where your ball comes down. There is NO second cut on the fairway. It goes from short fairway to 5-6 inch tall grass immediately and if you don't know exactly where your ball came down, you won't find it unless you're directly on top of it. Granted I'm a high handicapper but come on, I almost lost several balls that were just off the fairway and DID lose a couple that went further awry. Nice friendly employees though and the snack bar food was quite good.
