Providence Golf Club

Have been playing Providence for many years and was DISAPPOINTED by the greens this past visit (11/26/18). The greens were impossible. Sand everywhere and myself and playing partners could not get proper reads. Shots that were spot on would roll through the green. When I called day before I was told no sand on the greens. Not true.

Course needs water. No workers in sight on a Friday. Conditions not good. And poor nice women in clubhouse restaurant was all alone. She needed help. Hire someone. And hire people to keep course in decent condition.
Mystic Dunes Golf Club

Great layout. But fairways lacked grass. NEEDS WATERING. Some greens were brown. Needs landscaping in many areas. Staff not informative. One hole was closed, we should have been told. Won't be back this season. But course is challenging and unique, just needs TLC.

I play to an18 handicap. Cypress a real test. Play from the whites so you can enjoy this excellent course. And then enjoy the 19th hole with a friendly, efficient staff. Kudos to them.

Silver Lake Golf Course

It was hot but everything else yesterday at Silver Lake on Staten Island was pleasurable.
The greens were top dressed that morning LIGHTLY a required maintenance procedure at all Florida golf courses. I also played on the 26th and the ball rolled just fine for my group. I suggest in the future when booking you ask about any required maintenance is being done or just done so you are not disappointed .
