Tremendous value. One of the nicest gems in Hernando County. I live 22 miles from the course and if I lived a bit closer I would become a member. Greens were excellent. Just a pleasure to play this well maintained course. You won't be disappointed.

Got a $49 hot deal due to greens aeration about 5 days before. All I can say is WOW! What a nice golf course. Pete Dye design and you won't be disappointed. Attention to deal abounds everywhere. I sadly played behind some hackers who would have been better off using their green fees for lessons.

If you love golf you'll love this course. I'd play it more often but it is $$$$, so this will remain on my special occasion list only. If was just a bit more moderately priced I'd play there regularly.

Love when I get a chance to play World Woods Pine Barrens course. Got a great Hot Deal rate and got grouped with 2 young Philadelphia Phillie minor league pitchers. They hit from the black tees which is a little more than I should play at nearly age 60 but I sucked it up and played from them as well. I generally am not used to hitting some long irons into the par 4's but it was a fun day. The greens are always some the finest you'll ever putt on. Fairways are still in nice shape considering the extreme lack of rain in this area of Florida. Certainly worth the drive from anywhere and any distance; you won't ever be disappointed.

Booked a great value "Hot Deal" as a single. When I arrived I was greeted in the Pro Shop by Sherrie behind the counter, she went out of her way to pair me with someone of similar age and ability. Very friendly and was a pleasure to deal with. I played on a very windy day that made it a little tougher than I think it normally would be. Tee Boxes need a lot of work (hardly any grass), yet the fairways were fine. Greens are very small. They putt true but are quite slow. Not a long course so I used my three wood off most par 4's and 5's. Cart paths in spots are worn out. No water hazards to speak of on the course. Bunkers did not have any rakes and neither did my cart. Great course for short hitters/beginners. I will definitely return just because of how nice Sherrie in the Pro Shop treated the golfers.

Got a great price on Golfnow,com Hot Deal so I thought I'd make the drive up to Crystal River. Arrived and the Pro Shop is nice and clean with a nice grill room right next to it. Staff seemed disinterested with their greeting which did not come across as friendly or sincere either. Get a different job if you don't want to work with the public. Replacing some of the concrete cart paths on a few holes but the course is well routed and the course overall was in nice shape. Couple of bare spots on a few greens but they putted true though not that fact. Played from the back tees and hit 3 metal off most of the holes and shot a 85. Will play again when temps get a bit warmer.

Got a great price on a Hot Deal at a course I've not played before. Played as a single but joined 3 guys in my age group and similar ability at the first tee. The first tee cart path was in very poor shape but beyond that the carts path's were in good shape. Very nice layout through a subdivision. Course did not overseed the fairways with rye like many do so the fairways were undefined; just okay. Greens putted slow but have enough level changes to make them a challenge. Golf carts were newer EZGO's but were gas carts which I'm not a fan of due to the noise. Not one bit of water comes into play but has many bunkers that had plenty of sand in them. Certainly an outstanding value for what I paid especially during the winter in Florida. I expect to return again to play in the future.

The Good: Booked a hot deal on GolfNow.com for 2 players at the super low price of $10.00 per player for 18. A true HOT deal!. The Bad: I was a little disappointed to see the condition of some of the fairways, especially #9. Greens had been aerated recently but that is common this time of year.
