Candler was in great shape, and weather was perfect. Greens were moderately quick, fairways lush. Its a great course to play - open, no water, large bunkers.

At the top of my list! Greens were as fast as I've seen them and perfect. Pace of play was slow due to a "money" game in front of me, but the day was nice.
Always a great place to play.

I listed this review as avg for course conditions because there was still a bit of sand on the greens from their winterizing....still a fantastic golf experience! I play here often and enjoy it EVERY time!

Course was in great shape. Greens quick. Good layout for any golfer. Wide fairways, no water, large greens.

One of my favorite places to play. World Woods is top notch! Rolling Oaks was in good condition - fairways good, greens good. Still many trees down from the hurricane but doesn't affect play at all. Great golf facility!

I moved to the area so I could get closer to this course. Enjoy it every time I play. It was in very good condition - fairways full, greens good and fairly fast...its a great layout!

Rolling Oaks was still in a bit of recovery mode from hurricane Irma, but overall course was in fine condition. It is ALWAYS a pleasure playing here! For me, it is a flip of the coin between Rolling Oaks and the other course, Pine Barrens. Either one is top of the line golf - none better!

play Candler HIlls regularly. Course was a bit below its normal excellent condition as aeration had been done recently...another couple weeks and it should be perfect again

The course is very different from most Florida courses. Quite hilly and a lot of slope on the greens. Excellent layout. Fun to play, although it got the best of me!

Second time to play the course....will become a regular!
One of the best layouts I have played, anywhere! Nice rolling terrain, tricky greens, but overall very fair test of golf.
I understand this course has gone through ownership change, and the new owners are treating it with TLC. Greens were a bit slow for my liking, but quite suitable. Busy, so don't expect fast play.
Well worth playing!

First time to play 18...some good holes, some "interesting" holes. Greens had recently been verti cut and sanded, but rolled fine. Back 9 more open than front and has some nice elevation, which was a pleasant surprise. Will play there again.

I had played this course 15 yrs ago when I was up from Florida. Remembered it was good...had forgotten just how good!!!
Very challenging course, particularly if the wind blows...and it did! Course was in great condition, greens were fast compared to Florida bermuda.
I got pummeled by the course and thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Worth the trip out of Indy to place this outstanding layout.

Played Stone Creek because its close and a good value. Course layout is interesting, particularly the back where there are no houses, yet. Course was in go od shape, but the greens had recently been aerated and sanded and were bumpy and somewhat slow. But, greens should recover with a good rain and a couple more weeks.

Had read the reviews and most commented about how good the greens were....so we got there just 3 days after they aerated and sanded them! I understand that needs to be done, so no complaints, but putting was non existent.
Layout was good, particularly back 9, not a single house on it! Like playing in the wilds of Florida - great.
The ground was very hard even in the fairways. Course looks as though its being operated and cared for on a shoestring budget.
Will probably go back again, but will check first, so I don't get caught on the aeration cycle.

When we got to the first tee, found out we were in the middle of a shotgun, college tournament. Went to 10th tee and had members show up out of no where on the 15th...we only played 9 holes!
Pro was kind enough to credit us for only 9 so hope to get back and get the full flavor. Beautiful place, and plenty of up & down for a Florida course. Looking forward to going back even though the first time left us wanting...

World Woods IS all world! Played both courses and couldn't ask for anything better. I am SO glad I live close enough that I can enjoy these 2 gems. Took my brother from NC as a treat. They are simply the best! One pleasant surprise was lunch. The burgers are thick as steaks.
Even with the rain, the day was hard to beat!

First time to play....now added to "play often" list"! Course was in excellent shape and quite hilly for a Florida course. Absolutely a great experience. Look forward to playing it again, soon!

Had played here once before many years ago. Course was in good condition - greens had been aerated a few weeks before - no problem. What's nice is elevation change and holes around the lakes. Cart routing, like most golf course/residential communities is a bit crazy at times. A good value overall. Plan to play the other course sometime in near future.

Just moved to area and the course was close so I gave it a try. Was pleasantly surprised. Front nine is very interesting with tight holes where it helps to be able to maneuver the ball. That is fun! Greens were OK, grass was coming in and not real fast, but certainly acceptable. Back nine opens up, so the 2 nines are quite different. Good practice area, and adequate pro shop. Didn't use the snack bar/restaurant. I will definitely play it again, and often!

Just moved to Ocala - first time to play Candler Hills. Looks very manicured when you drive by, and it is all around the course.
Wide open, no water, and surprisingly flat for the area...Nothing real tricky or hidden...its pretty much right in front of you...Keep the ball toward the front side of the green. Seems a lot of the greens pitch back to front.
Enjoyable round, and will look forward to playing there often.
