I had a hot deal that put me back in the realm of my "normal" rates. I have always enjoyed the difficulty this course brings. It can be humbling on a windy day. Most fairways are cuddled by hills that can be very unforgiving if you miss them. Greens were recently punched, but they are compact enough that the holes don't have much affect on the roll. Still a great course with amenities for the money in the area.
- GPS and chargers on carts
- practice areas: range, short game, putting green

Double fees due to GolfNow fee and a surprise fee the course now charges. They also now charge for range balls, $9 for a tiny bag! Nickel and diming locals.. Course was in pretty good shape, but fairways are taking a beating and the greens are not filled out with grass (can see the dirt beneath) but still rolls nicely. Approach shots almost plug because of it, leaves huge divots. Still a decent value considering the 2 hour travel time.

This course has a lot of opportunity due to the fun layout and great location, however it tends to be over-priced compared to other local courses that are better manicured year round.. Tee boxes are not level and grass tends to stay long and is often spotty. Greens are usually a 6.5/10.
Pace of play is a problem, seems like no regulation or tee times are too close.
Practice area is decent, Putting Green, chipping area and long range. Has pin placements with greens to hit at. Sometimes require hitting off mats.

This course is always in great shape tee to green. Definitely some challenging tee boxes on a windy day. Great overall service. Coleman, the bartender, is a warm fellow and provides great service. A great deal is $60 and below.

As it states I made a last minute tee time around 5pm hoping to get out and play as many holes before the rain for $18.. better than a bucket of balls again. It took about 20 minutes for them to take my payment which delayed me a bit because they had one person that was having trouble with the traffic inside the pro shop and on the phone. Once I got out the course has really improved since the last time I played. The course has been better cleaned of debree and fairways and rough are being cared for. The ongoing problem with the course is by far the greens (which have somewhat improved since last time). There are still patches of weeds in the greens but at least it is no longer sand. Greens seem to be dehydrated as they are fast in some places and slow in others, although they are consistent in the trimming. Tee boxes also need work, lots of dirt patches. Course has always been good for the money and beggers can't be choosers but I really enjoy the layout and would pay an extra bit for them to utilize those funds to fix some things. Also, they told us the kitchen closes at 4pm durine the week... not sure how the members can enjoy their club and dinners with their wives if this is true.
