The rainy Summer can bog down the courses but the "Lakes" was dry and very payable. Good greens, grassy fairways and payable bunkers are about all you can ask for.

As usual the Summer rain have some effect on the green speed and a few areas but the course is very playable. The many doglegs (and more water than the Lakes Course) require a good bit of course management. The middle of the fairway is very important to getting birdie or even reasonable par putts.

As usual, this is a fun course to play as most holes are entirely different from the others. The greens are very puttable, the fairways are good, and the rough is, well, quite rough in places.

Most of the course was in very nice condition despite some obvious heavy rain. However, the punched greens were not properly sanded so the putting strokes looked like small basketballs on their way to the hole and despite playing well, 37 putts made my score in the mid 80s.

played under windy and rainy conditions so not a great day on the course. However, very impressed by the conditions of the greens. The rains made them feel a little slow but perfect rolls like a nice carpet. Cannot wait until chance to go again on dry day.

As usual the greens and fairways are in great shape. Being watered heavily during the Spring drought. This course requires straight controlled shots to avoid water, trees and forest. However it is fair and good scores can be found. Toughest when windy but always playable. Some holes tend to be like an animal preserve especially during slow times as the deer population is abundant and alligators sometimes wish to get a good look at your tee shot.

This course always has decent greens. The drought conditions has kept the fairways quite sparse and often poor lies. Definitely needs TLC in the fairways and tee boxes. However, playable and many amateurs will probably be satisfied.

This course has always been a favorite to challenge your golf game. Plenty of water, many angle shots, and greens that are fast enough to give your stroke a challenge.

The greens were much improved over the past year and had a little speed. However, the fairways and rough were "rough". This course drains very well so if planning to play in the wet Florida Summer, this is a good choice. Hopefully, the Spring rains will provide addition growth in the fairways for better lies.

Greens were quite good but the fairways ranged from a little grass to dirt. This course needs a few months of TLC to bring it bad to conditions of a few years ago. The current prices are outlandish considering the overall conditions.

Fairways are ok but the usual Spring drought always affects Florida fairways. The greens are always fun to putt with decent speed and true rolls. This is the time of year that courses get beat up from a bit too much play but Lansbrook is holding up well.

The course has improved considerably in the past month as the grass has come alive. Fairway lies are good, greens are a bit slow but puttable. With a bit more TLC this course could move up into a preferred category.

Slow greens and sparse fairways made this course a substantial letdown after playing it last Fall. Apparently, the frost and probably overuse mad tee boxes mainly sand and the fairways were the worse I have seen. This is normally a very nice course to play because of great drainage providing good conditions even in rainy season.

At one time this course was one of my favorites but it appears management has decided to let its conditions be decided by nature. The fairways were hard with little grass, no over seeding so the dormant Bermuda was already sparse and now is very sparse. The best lies should not be in the rough but on this course they are.

Consistently good greens, fairways always playable unless heavy rain. One of top courses in area.

The course is in good shape despite some recent dry cold weather. The greens are not overly fast but very challenging to putt if you are on the wrong level.

Dirt fairways, slow, bumpy greens, basically a farm field mowed.

This course is always very payable except when overly wet from Summer rains. Fairways are wide and the greens are very puttable. The most challenging part of putting is fixing all the ball marks that others are too lazy to repair. Other than that the greens run true. The biggest improvement would be rangers to correct some of the poor behavior of a minority of golfers.

Nice course with excellent conditions for late Fall. Greens challenge the best putters with some very tough pin positions. Bunkers didn’t have much sand and was the only fault I could find.

As usual it was an enjoyable day of golf. The course has a great layout. Only downside is the lack of sand deep enough in the bunkers. When this one becomes homes and condos, it will be a great loss to the area for visiting golfers.
